Looking at the history of the Carcano there is really only one thing that it is known for. There is a bit that is important about the development and some historical side notes when we look at the second world war but it isn't until after the war and in a small open park in Dallas that the American people became familiar with the Carcano.

As with the United States the Germans saw changes to their choice in main battle rifle (MBR) between 1918 and 1938. Even during the Second World War the Germans changed horses adopting variation of their MBR including the second semi-auto service rifle of the war. Despite the high quality of all the rifles fielded by the German military in both conflicts not many survive today in modern circulation.

Sarah and I review two movies, one is just fun and the other just disturbing. First we tackle Hansel and Gretel: Witch hunters and go over some of the things that you should know before you go and seen and we also talk about the streches that are made by the writes. Then we take a look an older movie about real events. Many of you have likely never heard of the Wannsee Conference. This is one of the lesser known two hours in world history but it is oh so important.

There are a lot of movies that are out there which posit the question... What If. So the other night as Sarah and I lay in bed and we were going to watch a movie like a normal modern couple. So based on our viewings we were recommend a movie called Iron Sky. This is a Sci-Fi movie that is a mirror for us to look in and go Oh.... So enjoy as Sarah and I review this episode and try to get the volume issue squared away and just wait to see what Sarah is wearing.

The British empire was once the largest nation on the planet. One small island nation and the weapons of it's army were to spread to every reach of the empire. of all of these the Enfield is one of the most prolific of weapons found through the world. from 1895 until 1957 this rifle was the main battle implement of the British infantry and even today they are being used through the remnant of that once great empire. Today we look at how this weapon brought the empire into the 20th century.
