Follow Me - 38: Two people encounter, follow and learn about Jesus. Both experience life and disappointment. One is playing a dangerous game. One understands that Jesus needs to have everything. The difference between a person molding Jesus and Jesus molding a person becomes everything.

Follow Me - 37: Using apocalyptic imagery and Old Testament allusions, Jesus prophesys the destruction of the temple and why it was going to happen and talks also about his second coming.

Follow Me - 36: Skeptics ask Jesus what the most important commandment is. Jesus responds with a scandalous answer about loving God not with a part of ourselves, but with all of ourselves. We explore how this answer challenges our lives and modern Christian sentimentalism.

Follow Me - 35: One of the games we play with God is the Distraction Game. God calls us to do something and we start talking about theology, politics or some other hotly debated issue that changes the subject. We somehow think He will not notice that we are not submitting to his authority because at least we are still talking about religious things. In this passage we see the Sadducees play the game by asking Jesus a theological question about heaven, resurrection and marriage.

Follow Me - 34: Jesus had opponents. We will too if we follow him. His opponents, instead of submitting to his authority, put him on trial and asked him to enter into a hotly debated political issue of that time - namely whether the Jewish people should pay taxes to Caesar or not. If he answers yes, the crowds would hate him. If he answers no, the government would kill him. His answer challenged both the crowds and the government to give allegiance where it is due.

Since the beginning of civilization humankind has told stories about superhero's who fight against evil and win. In this message we explore the fact that the Bible says that the ultimate superhero of all history is Jesus and that we are not the hero of our own lives.

Follow Me - 33: In this message we explore Jesus' challenge to people around whether their lives are bearing any fruit. We take a look at the games we play with God when we want to disobey Him but still look good or do good as a trade-off.

Follow Me - 32: Jesus challenges the religious establishment by showing himself as the Messiah and as God, acting out a parable of judgment in the Temple and calling for people's worship.

Follow Me - 31: Do we live in such a way that we are ever amazed and afraid at what God is doing in and through us? Do we speak to the Lord about whatever is on our hearts no matter what it is or how messy? This passage explores these and other questions including as its main challenge not IF we follow Jesus, but WHY. What is our motivation for following him - power, reputation, to advance ourselves, community, to back a winner? Jesus challenges us to repent of such motivations and speaks to the real reason we should follow him.

Follow Me - 30: Jesus challenges a rich, young, successful guy because, like many in our culture, he's lost in religion and the love of money.

Follow Me - 29: Jesus challenges his culture and our own to have marriages that are honouring to God by having Him in the center to help create unity and oneness. We also explore the four biblical grounds for divorce but see that Jesus says that even in the midst of this he wants us to fight for our marriages.

Follow Me - 28: Hell is one of the most controversial topics in history. Many people reject Christianity based on the reality of Hell. Jesus addressed a few key questions in regard to Hell in this passage: does it exist? how long does it last? what is it like? and what is the reason for it? A controversial exploration of the doctrine of Hell at a time when many people are talking about it and many Christians are doubting what the Scriptures teach about it.

Follow Me - 27: Jesus rebukes his disciples for trying to stop another Christian from doing ministry. Not everyone's discipleship looks the same. Jesus challenges their arrogance, narrow-mindedness and pride saying the solution is to realize that you are not the hero of your own life - Jesus is.

Follow Me - 26: An argument among the disciples turns into silence when asked by Jesus "what are you discussing". Jesus sits them down to instruct and restores the idea of his Kingdom's greatness. The challenging question we all must ask is, "Are we burning greatness?"

Follow Me - 25: We can't imitate Jesus on the battlefield unless we imitate him in bootcamp. We need to both engage the world and retreat and spend time with God in prayer, study and disciplines in order to be effective in ministry. We explore this, how Satan effects kids, how Jesus fights for kids and what good Christian parenting is all about.
