A lobster, and a man sleeping in your privet hedge. Just two things that listeners to this show have found in their front yard. Seriously, can you imagine? I mean the lobster is strange, but sometimes a bit of intrigue adds a certain spice to life, but a man living in your hedge? Do you start charging rent? Luckily, I live on the third floor, so it's not really an issue.

Geoff polishes off the week by asking about strangers asking you really cheeky things, and also you asking people cheeky things yourself- it's a phone in that works both ways- 2 for 1 on a Friday, you can't say fairer than that.

Some radio shows make do with phone-in's such as "Why do you never see baby pigeons" or "What's the best thing about the 80s". Not this one- in this one, Geoff asks you to simply finish the sentance "I was so hungry that I ate...." And in some ways, that's all you need to know about this show.

Geoff asks for a number of things today- stories of animal attacks, places you can't go back to, and brilliant toilets. In the end, the animal one really took over- seems like there are a lot of wild beasts out there. We did get one story of a brilliant loo however, so it wasn't all wasted time.

You know those times when kids do bad things and you're supposed to shout at them, but actually it's really funny? That's something Geoff and Annabel talk about during the show. Other topics include congealed fat in a sewer, and things you can't help but touch. There's literally something for everyone, so dive right in!

Geoff and Annabel return from their holidays all refreshed and...well actually it's debatable whether they're refreshed- I mean, sometimes you come back from holidays and it's tough to get back into the swing of things isn't it? Not to say that this is bad, it's absolutely what you'd expect from the two of them fulfilling their contractual obligation.

It's the last Hometime Show before our summer break, and in honour of all the nannas that can't go outside because of the scorching temperatures, we ask for programs to add to our new TV station just for nans- C Biddies.

I'll tell you why...First, we've got Simon Pegg and Nick Frost on the show talking about their new movie The World's End, and secondly (and perhaps even more exciting), we've got The Boy Least Likely To in the studio with the world exclusive first play of their reworked Dead Dogs Memorial Song!

Today Geoff went and used a phonebox- that's not the sort of thing that you'd expect is it? I mean, there's other things in the radio show- one can't base an entire show around a phonebox annecdote can one? Still, it is one part of the show, and the rest shall be a delightful surprise for you to discover upon further listening.

Geoff got lost on his way to work today, so we hear stories of you being lost too, including a story about a man called Lost Ian. Anyway, we also talk eccentric newsagents, and we get a special treat when Boy Least Likely to agree to have a crack at covering Annabel's Dead Dogs song.

Geoff is back and asks amongst other things- have you ever become a tourist attraction, and seeks your novel ways of keeping cool. We also hear the world premier of Annabel's ode to the dead dogs of the nation, and it's totally brilliant.

In honour of the Stones' gig this weekend, Geoff asks for tenuous connections to said band, plus he questions where all the young scamps selling papers have gone, and tries to think of a way to make cigarettes less appealing to children.

We all have a weakness, a kryptonite if you will- something that we cannot abide, smell, touch or even look at without turning into a puddle of fear. But an Angora Sweater? Surely nobody is scared of those...are they?

Geoff enjoyed having someone play a guitar at him in the studio, so today he got another guitar-wielding chap along- the very funny Jay Foreman who, ahead of his Edinburgh show, serenades Geoff with, amongst other things, a song about his car that runs on caterpillar sick. Even if you don't drive, you should listen to this.
