In this Tuesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I start things off by talking about the Netflix 'Quarterback' series that just dropped. We have a lengthy conversation about Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett in this show on the heels of a recent interview that he did. We talk about the top coverage he likes to see, his maturation process and much more as he enters his second NFL season. Steelers wide receiver Allen Robinson II was a co-host on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Friday morning, so we quickly cover a few things that he had to say to open that show. The Steelers lost a front office member recently, so Alex makes sure to recap that news in the middle of this show. I have now wrapped up my series on Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt and the right tackles he's likely to face in 2023 so Alex and I finish recapping those latest posts. We then move forward to discuss more posts in my ongoing 90-In-30 Training Camp series. We discuss the chances of Heyward being signed to a contract extension after the 2023 season and what that might look like should it happen. We also discuss snap totals for Heyward in 2023. The Steelers have still yet to sign rookie cornerback Joey Porter Jr., so Alex and I go deep into what his ongoing contract negotiations likely look like at this point of the summer and if there is any worry of him not being inked by the start of training camp. We move on and start discussing a few of the right tackles that Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt will face during the first several games of the 2023 regular season. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I start things off by talking about the recent Instagram post made by Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward. From there, we discuss what Heyward's future looks like past the 2023 season. We move forward to discuss Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and his chances of getting into the Pro Football Hall of Fame if he were to retire right now. We also discuss what Tomlin needs to do moving forward to make himself an unquestioned lock for a gold jacket and bust in Canton, OH. Updated passing stat odds are out for Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett so Alex and I discuss his over/under lines for both touchdown passes thrown in 2023 and passing yards. We also discuss the play of Pickett in 2024 as potentially being the key element of the Steelers Super Bowl window opening back up for the next several years after he hopefully makes another jump in 2023.
