Ron Paul 2012 Podcast
Summary: Most independent minded Americans realize that Washington DC is corrupt, and is run for the administrative convenience of Wall St. banks and multinational corporations. Republicans and Democrats have let us down time and time again. If the United States are to remain free and democratic, we must save our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Don't let the corporate media and the special interests tell you how to think! They demonize any restraint on federal authority (like Constitutionalism, states-rights, fully informed juries, and the OathKeepers) as racist, extremist, or seditious! Why? Because they are authoritarians at heart who want to run your life and take your money on behalf of the wealthiest people on earth. Ron Paul is America's leading voice for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. If you are disgusted by what corporate interests have gotten away with in recent years, you must understand that it wouldn't have been possible without government complicity. A small government cannot pass out favors to cronies, and therefore representatives are less likely to be corrupted. Don't allow the media to convince you that libertarian ideals are quaint, bizarre, or anachronistic. Don't allow the likes of the ADL and Southern Poverty Law Center to get away with saying that you're a racist if you believe you've been taxed enough and you think the borders should be secured. Dr. Paul represents a return to common sense in government, and to the freedom that allowed such great prosperity in our country. So take a listen to Congressman Paul's words as he is interviewed by the media, gives speeches to students and supporters, and debates ideological foes. Rep. Ron Paul did have an informal presence at the RNC in Tampa. Unfortunately, an unedited speaking slot was not part of the festivities. Instead, the party opted for a video tribute that was shown to the delegates on the floor of the Tampa Bay Times Forum on Wednesday. Prominent tea party Republicans like Sen. Rand Paul, Sen. Jim DeMint, and Sen. Mike Lee offered complimentary words about the Congressman's many years of service. Later, Sen. Paul spoke to the convention-goers about conservatism and what this election means to America. On the eve of Mittens Romney's long presumed coronation, Congressman Ron Paul visited with Fox News' Neil Cavuto on the floor of the RNC in Tampa. Dr. Paul spoke about the viability of the Romney-Ryan ticket and the experience of the 2012 campaign.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul rallied with around 400 supporters on Monday morning, including most of the Iowa delegation attending the Republican National Convention in Florida. The event was the Iowa breakfast at the Republican National Convention, but the majority of the crowd supposedly came from other states -- and those out-of-staters were Ron Paul supporters. The Club on Treasure Island, Florida — near the Iowa delegation’s hotel — was the site of the event — and a light rain fell as guests arrived. After posting the audio of the Ron Paul campaign's formal gathering in Tampa Bay, I though I would post some sounds from the "fringe" element gathering at the Florida State Fairgrounds at the P.A.U.L. (People Awakening and Uniting for Liberty) Festival. PAULfest welcomed many of the liberty movement's most prominent thinkers, who were not invited to the campaign's official rally. The three day gathering welcomed thousands of Paulistas from around the country and featured speeches from various libertarian/Paul supporters. I included speeches from all the names that you'd want to hear (excluding a couple minor speeches that aren't yet posted on YouTube). I thought I'd post a good portion of the audio from the festivities during the RNC. On Sunday afternoon, somewhere between seven and ten thousand Paul supporters packed the University of South Florida's (USF) Sun Dome in Tampa Bay, Florida to celebrate the campaign's successes and to honor Ron Paul for his service. If you are looking for audio of Dr. Paul's speech, it can be heard in its entirety here. This audio file contains additional music and speeches from the major rally, for your listening enjoyment. Much of the video from the rally can be watched at C-Span.org; however, I had to rip some video elsewhere since the satellite feed was cutting out (due to Hurricane Isaac). *If there is no link after the speaker's name, the remarks can be seen at C-Span.
