In revisiting the past, we may seek to prove to ourselves that it was not as bad as it really was, or we may seek to forecast the future. Much of the time, however, dredging up the past is a futile effort. A new beginning needs to be just that something that is new (novel, original, fresh, innovative) and that is a beginning (start, launch, creation, commencement). In this definition of a new beginning, there is no room for the past. How do we leave the past in the past? We must recognize that we have gone as far as we can by utilizing the technology of the past; we are maxed out on the past. We have to do something different to get something different and become something different. We have to do something new to get something new. The genuinely new will never be a validation of the past. The new is a validation of the future and its unlimited potential. The future s potential is unknown because it is uncharted. The beauty of the future is that we can make our own map of it, deciding upon the destinations as we arrive at them. We must also recognize that our new might be someone else s old. However, because we will approach opportunities with our own technology and specialness, we should not be influenced by the outcomes of others. Bio: Dr. Nathaniel J. Diann is very passionate about educating others pertaining to spirituality, life and health issues. She has held multiple health awareness and nutritional seminars here in the city of Indianapolis.
