This hour of The Roadhouse is chock full blues experience - artists with deep catalogs, lots of time on the road in front of fans, and plenty of musical tricks up their sleeves. Altered Five Blues Band, Joe Louis Walker, Billy Price, Sugaray Rayford, and Duke Robillard - it's a ton of experienced blues in the hour, and it's certainly another hour of the finest blues you've never heard - the 754th Roadhouse.
Over the years, I've built a list of some of my favorite Roadhouse artists. This week, like some cosmic convergence, I've got what might be the biggest collection of Roadhouse favorites of any Roadhouse show. Cash Box Kings, Coco Montoya, Delbert McClinton, Janiva Magness, and Doug MacLeod. Along with nine other artists, I'm really excited about the hour ahead. It's another hour of the finest blues you've never heard - from some of my favorite artists in The Roadhouse.
Over the years, I've built a list of some of my favorite Roadhouse artists. I've got a nice variety of blues in the hour - uptempo, a little slower, blues rock, contemporary blues, and a set of really interesting acoustic blues. I've also got music from an upcoming release and yet another Roadhouse debut. The Kokomo Kings, Heather Newman, Brownie McGhee & Sonny Terry, Colby James, and The Teskey Brothers fill out the hour, putting in place the framework for what I'm sure you'll agree is another hour of the finest blues you've never heard - the 752nd Roadhouse.
