Two Bs from Lil D

This week the Bs watched Demi Lavato's Dancing with the Devil Documentary, they comment on the lack of background given to those interviewed in the 4 part series. We leave knowing that working for Disney seems to be one of the worst places to be a child star. The Bs comment on the intro and transition scenes where Demi is climbing mountains in a cape, is very Game of Thrones-esque. Additionally the commercials Jojo was presented while she watched were really taking away from the documentary for her ("iS yOuR pOoP tOxIc?!"). They're now worried about that. The Bs deep dive on Demi's ex-fiance Max Ehrich who got really weird after the break up with Demi which was not directly addressed in the documentary. Max being a soap opera star gave the Bs a chance to discuss their soap names. Overall, we took away that if anyone tries to mask a watermelon as a birthday cake we both would lose it. The Bs discuss all the drama of the Suez Canal this week (Billy Joel was right!!!) and the fear we had when it comes to a supply issue with toilet paper. They imagine what the operator of the blocked ship must have said to his supervisor when he called to say he was stuck. They discuss Demi Lovato's new term "California sober" and how it should be more widely adopted for things outside of being sober. Just when y'all thought 2021 couldn't get any weirder, Matthew McConaughey releases some low budget lawn chair commercials where he appears to just laugh at his whiskey (for real, we did not dream this) AND contemplates running for Texas governor, despite never having voted in a primary election. The Bs are confused, yet they might just still vote for him... Morg and Jo further dissect what is going on with JLo and ARod (someone help these two stop smooching!) and discuss Bey's letter to T-Swift (that handwriting though). The Bs are coming after the Grammys this week. How could they do the Weeknd and JBeebs so wrong? Jo and Morg discuss the fashion and the nail art that was on the red carpet reminding us all that we are too poor to live our lives the way the Grammy artists do. Jo gives the Grammys a new category that they are looking forward to the Academy accepting going forward. They discuss a new panel of judges altogether that gets sent to an island for a year so they can judge the Grammy's without bias. C'mon it will make bank $$$ make that baby into a reality TV show too. Ooh y'all, this week we have got some tea for you, English tea, that is. The Bs watched Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah when it aired AND took notes, so you know it's gonna be good. Unfortunately, they did the same amount of research as usual, which also happens to be the same amount of research Meghan did on the royal family before marrying into it. Come join us as we break down the Little Mermaid analogy (who is Ursula!?), question the amount of terms for the monarchy (the FIRM, Y'ALL!?), and come to the conclusion that yes, we aren't crazy, Oprah totally snuck in a British accent. The Bs revisit the snowstorm that shut down Texas for a week and discuss how 2021 is pretty much just as sucky as 2020. This week, the Bs dabble in Zodiacs, focusing more specifically on Aquarians. The ladies do some light research and turn to forums to get a deeper understanding of what an Aquarius is really like (spoiler: they are sneaky AF). They discuss a new sign added by NASA (LOL WUT never thought we would see NASA in the game) and write their own horoscopes. For example, today, as the moon aligns with Pluto and the Earth sits on a tilt, you will find serenity and joy in your home as you sip on a beverage and listen to this episode (omg we were BORN to write these).

Love is all around us! This week the Bs discuss some practical gifts you can opt for your SO that might get more use than that giant teddy bear on aisle 9. They also give a little history lesson on the creep of the holiday - Cupid. And talk about the shrouds of mystery around St. Valentine himself. Jo confesses that she started the self-love movement in 3rd grade and Morg walks us through the worst Valentine's day she ever had. Hallelujah, we made it to the weekend once again, y'all, although we really didn't think we were gonna make it through the work week this time. As of late (or really always), it has been hard for the Bs to get excited to do their day job and this week that is what they are talking about. Morg tries out her hand at resume writing and the Bs try to get to the bottom of what a consultant actually does. They discuss the buzzwords that make business people lose their minds and  wonder if they can create a meaningless buzzword of their own...
