DANNY W. BROOKS JR.Funeral Director/OwnerDanny W. Brooks Jr. was born in San Antonio, TX to Pastor Danny W. Brooks Sr., and Yolanda Brooks. Danny’s father is the lead pastor of Tried Stone Baptist Church and his mother is a teacher at St. Monica Catholic School. Danny has one brother, Danzel Brooks who is also following in his footsteps.Danny graduated top 10% in his class from Judson High School in 2005. At the age of 18 Danny was the youngest to graduate from San Antonio College with a Mortuary Science degree. He has been a licensed funeral director for over 10 years.Danny has performed over 2000 funerals/cremations in his young career. At twenty, he was the manager for D. W. Brooks Funeral Home where he led the team in sales and aided in the growth of the funeral home. At the age of 27, Danny’s father retired and Danny assumed full responsibility of the family business in February 2014. Currently, Danny is in the process of remodeling the funeral home and has given the funeral home its “social footprint” to better serve his customers.
