John shares their story on how they have been on the mission field abroad and now they are calling the church to reach the mission field right in their own backyards. They have been working with leaders all over the area to continue the conversation of being a friend to the foreigners and effectively reaching the foreign-born internationals that God has brought into our communities.
Pastor Jeff Jones shares his story of being a pastor for the past 33 years. He talks about his experiences as a young pastor living in a world where diversity was still seen as a challenge for the church. And how he was a witness to the church coming a long way and lowering its resistance and its conflicts against diversification.
In the exciting conclusion of David's story, we learn about his conversion to his becoming a missionary to his home country. He traded the American dream for his calling and is now over a thriving ministry in his home country. With over 60,000 people in Ghana saved so far, David is shifting his focus towards discipleship.
David shares the story of his journey to America from Ghana, where he lived in a very underresourced community without any relationship with Jesus to his arrival in America with $150 and a dream that led him to become successful in business and find a relationship with Jesus. However, David felt compelled to go back to Ghana to reach students who, like him, didn't understand the Gospel.
I-Sah Hsieh shares his story on how he answered God’s call to open a home church. He talks about how he has seen God reaching people from different nations and languages. And what the churches need to do differently in order to bring people from different cultures together.
Pastor Matt shares his story on how he uprooted his life to answer a calling for ministry. We talk about how he continues to strive and work for the global movement of God through outreach and his burning passion for the Gospel.
Ayo is from Nigeria and is a great friend of mine. He shares his story on how he has been sent to the United States to be an ambassador for the gospel of Christ. And how he has been able to use his experience as a foreign-born international to reach out to other foreign-born internationals and help them rise up for their faith.
Pastor M and I talk about Bridge events and how these events would lead to the foundation of a local church. We talk about the medical clinics and Pastor M’s church in the Red Light District of Mumbai, both a great example of how "bridge events" are important to both us and to the community.
