This week’s interview is with Celebrity Photographer Lysa Nalin. Well, before we chatted I just thought she was a photographer and was an extra in Die Hard 2, but boy she has done a lot more than that. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! Die Hard 2 is our next film and earlier in the year we were lucky enough to interview the bad guy in movie, William Sadler. We met Corinne Rodriguez Montoya through a mutual friend and found out she was an extra in Die Hard 2, so we scheduled the interview to talk about that, but once the interview began, we knew we were talking to one of the most interesting people we will ever talk to. She has stories involving John Lennon and Michael Jackson, but that is the tip of the iceberg. This week’s bonus episode is a special one for me because I am obsessed with Saturday Night Live.  The process of the show and the amazing sketches that come from it.  I interviewed former SNL Musician JZ Zonars who started there as an intern, he has a great story about how that came about, then climbed the ladder to eventually being a sketch musician.  After leaving SNL he became a record consultant and worked with John Mayer, Demi Lovato, System of a Down, and the Jonas Brothers.  I actually went to high school with their bass player Greg Garbowski and JZ had great things to say about him.  We also talked about former cast members, the birthplace of Ron Burgundy, some of the famous songs from the show, and so much more.   Review, Rate, and Share our podcast. We usually try to get either a director, writer, actor, producer, or special effects for the sequel that we are covering.  Well, this week's guest did every single one of those jobs for our next film, "Terror Toons 3."  Joe Castro grew up in a small town where he fell in love with monster movies at a young age. It was from a combination of a magazine he bought about monsters and from the time his dad showed him a Godzilla movie.  Joe had the support from his family to support his dreams of making movies by buying him a video camera when they cost as much a car! He took risks and reached out to horror legend Tom Savini for help on special effects and the rest is history. In honor of having a Friday the 13th this month, we had to discuss one and we chose a non-Crystal Lake one,  Jason Takes Manhattan....well sorta.  Doug and Jamie invited guest Tom Kiczula, who was born on a Friday the 13th, to discuss this wild installment in the story of Jason Voorhees. This week we were lucky enough to interview Actor and “Jason Victim” Michael Benyaer, who played gang member Jojo in next week’s film “Friday the 13th Part VIII Jason Takes Manhattan.  Michael has had quite the career so far.  While in high school he was a mini celeb after appearing on 21 Jump St, he also voiced on Hadji on the Johnny Quest and worked with George Segal, worked on a pilot with Henry Winkler, and that just a little taste of what you’re going to hear. Jaws. Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Escape From New York.  This week’s guest played a huge part in all of these films and is also our first oscar-nominated guest and BAFTA Winner (British Oscars), Joe Alves.  Joe is a legend in the film industry who has worn many hats. Art Director, Producer, Production Designer, and Director.  Joe was brought on to draw the concept art for the book that Jaws was based on, then was tasked with building the shark.
