www.GoodMorningGwinnett.com The Gwinnett County animal control and health departments are advising caution after a rabid cat attacked two people this week in downtown Lawrenceville.“Avoid animals behaving in unusual ways,” the county said in a Friday news release.Two adults were attacked by the cat Tuesday near the intersection of East Crogan Street and Buford Drive, the county said. The Lawrenceville Police Department captured the cat and brought it to Gwinnett Animal Welfare and Enforcement. The firm was tasked with offering recommendations that would make the district more effective.During an April school board meeting, Mark Raisor and Lamont Browne of MGT said Gwinnett’s leadership structure is disjointed, redundant and too big.
