While this news isn't a surprise we talk about the thought process behind it and what it means for Tua going into this year.  Also, we talk about the team captains for the Dolphins for this year as the team voted on those over the weekend. The Dolphins' first official depth chart was also released on Monday and Tom goes over who fell where and if there were any surprises on it. We talk about if there were any surprises from the list of names who were let go on Saturday and what does the roster look like at this point in time. Mike goes over the big news from Saturday which was the Dolphins trading a 4th round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders for Lynn Bowden Jr and where Bowden fits into the Dolphins offensive plans in 2020 and beyond. Then Mike is joined by Manish Mehta, NFL/Jets Columnist for the NY Daily News, as we talk about Brian Flores, how the Dolphins may fare in 2020, the Dolphins rebuilding plan, as well as we talk about Adam Gase and the Jets and what their outlook is heading into the 2020 season and if Adam Gase is on the hot-seat entering 2020.

On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Daily Podcast Mike talks about the surprising news from Friday evening that the Miami Dolphins have released quarterback Josh Rosen. While it was no surprise that the Dolphins were looking to move on from Rosen it is a surprise that they outright released him and were unable to move him via trade. Now, nothing is official until 4 pm Saturday evening so if a team comes calling late Friday or early Saturday with a trade offer the Dolphins could still make a last-minute trade for Rosen as they did with Kalen Ballage last week with the Jets where they first announced they were releasing him only to then have the Jets make them a trade offer. We will talk about the big Josh Rosen news and how this will go down as one of the worst trades in Miami Dolphins' history. We also will talk about the other Miami Dolphins roster cuts that have been announced as the Dolphins were very proactive in announcing the majority of their moves on Friday not and not waiting until Saturday when most teams announce the trimming of their roster. We also talk about the plethora of players Miami had in for workouts on Friday as well including Antonio Callaway and Alex Collins, two very talented players who have had numerous issues off the field.

On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Daily Podcast Mike talks about the latest report from Adam Schefter of ESPN that the Dolphins are considering trading Josh Rosen. To Trade or Not To Trade Josh Rosen? Mike breaks down the pros and cons of the situation and shares his thoughts on whether the Dolphins should pull the trigger on a deal to move the young quarterback. There are a lot of factors in play here and a lot to unpack as whether to trade Rosen or not trade him and it does have a ripple effect that will go into the 2021 season and alter future moves this franchise makes.  Mike also talks about some possible landing spots and teams that might have some interest in Rosen due to their lack of depth at the quarterback position and about what type of trade and what value Rosen has on the trade market right now.

Aaron and Josh are back to discuss the possibility of the Dolphins trading Josh Rosen and/or trading FOR Alvin Kamara.
