Summary: SMALL MAGIC was actually born out of the 2016 election cycle. I realized that I didn’t like all the boxes people were being put into and I didn’t like all the separation that was happening around me. From Islamaphobia to Black Lives Matter, there was more and more of that “us” against “them” feeling and no one was doing anything about it. I’m determined to change that and the world around me. And SMALL MAGIC is the vehicle I choose to use to do so.

Jodi Pelletier would say she is no one special. I disagree. Jodi is a teacher in the local Tampa Bay area and teaches second grade. I'd be willing to bet you that the eight learning challenged students whom she has taught would say she's pretty special too. She's made a difference in their lives and they will be forever changed because of it. She didn't like the way something was so she just took it upon herself to make things better. Mission accomplished, Jodi. AND thank you for making a difference.

Ria Colon is an ordinary person but she is an EXTRAORDINARY human being. Ria has been helping a homeless man, Juan, that she first came in contact with about three months ago. Gail Gabbert is a counselor at the Galena Clinic. She has seen a LOT of things in her time but this story is something that had us both speechless. Listen to Gail talk about the support the community gave to the clinic to help those addicted to opiates and others coming to the clinic for treatment.
