The Beast is riding high after his 2018 run through the Free 4 All and his victories over former tag team champion Jeff Sneider and The Android Marc Andreyko that led to him becoming the Schmoedown Singles Champion. He’s completely changed his approach to the game and as a result he has found incredible success. But now, The Outlaw has come calling for the belt after over a year and a half of pursuing it. He’s had his ups and downs in this league as well this year and after dispatching both members of Team Action, he now has an opportunity to win back what he lost to his Horsmen stablemate. If you know anything about The Outlaw, you know he’ll be ready and he’ll be focused, but will what happened in the tag team match against Team KO affect his preparation or mindset going into this match? Will the Collider Live appearance between both of these competitors come back to bite them in the match? Will The Beast defend his belt and start a new reign as an unbeatable champion? Or will The Outlaw win a record third belt in the league and become the first competitor to ever win 11 matches? We’ll have the answers to all of these questions in today’s match! Round Two of the tournament continues today and it’s the Founding Fathers Dan Murrell and John Rocha taking on the architect of this whole tournament and his young apprentice, Mike Kalinowski and Chance Ellison aka Team KO. Chance is a young rookie who made his bones in the Schmoedown fan leagues and got called up by the boss while we all know the drama and hijinks that always follows Kalinowski. Both teams had close first round matches up until the final round before taking care of business in their respective matches. Now the competition heats up as the stakes increase to see who will advance to the semifinals of the tournament. Both of these teams have found a quick rapport with each other and it has shown through in their play, but will that chemistry serve them well in this battle or will cracks start to show and cost one team the match? Can the Founding Fathers take the next step towards a possible tag-team championship shot today or will the Man of Controversy and The Kid pull off an upset for the ages? Halloween comes out this weekend and fans of the original John Carpenter masterpiece will see the return of Jamie Lee Curtis to the iconic role of Laurie Strode…and Michael Myers. Carpenter also returns to the franchise he made famous to executive produce this film along with Blumhouse founder Jason Blum. David Gordon Green directs this “sequel” of sorts and co-wrote the film as well with Danny McBride. The film’s synopsis states Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. The Witching Hour’s Perri Nemiroff and Haleigh Foutch are joined by Mark Reilly to give their full-on SPOILER review of the film. They look at the action, direction, acting, and storylines of the movie. They let you know if this film was worth the hype, the excitement and the build-up or if it was a bit of a disappointment.
