He has been named the “Modern Citizen” of the underground indie music scene. Dance club anthem remixes; “Hello”, “I Want You”, “Stay Away” and “Perfect Crime”, were massive underground hits with Dj’s from all over the world. Today YOVANNI defines his genre of music as a stylish mix of R&B, Funk, Pop Rock with elements of electronica. The Enchanted Plug is an American musical duo from East St Louis, Illinois. The duo consists of Moonface Magic and Charga tha bear. Both members grew up listening to a variety of different artists in various genres such as Elton john, Ozzy, Joan Jet , Bon Scott, Billy Joel, Prince and more. The first artist to inspire their pursuit of creating music was Kanye West. The two bought his Graduation album and fell in love with his untraditional approach to hip hop music. Since childhood, the two were intrigued by music and performing on stage. They even performed a few times at the Village Theater (located in Alorton, Illinois) as a dance group in their early teens.  They officially embarked on their musical journey in 2014, starting a music group with their friends called L7 gang. After having a falling out with the group, the two decided to become a duo called The Enchanted Plug in 2016 based off their nicknames Magic and Charga. They changed their image at this time, Moonface dawning a white mask and Charga a bearhead with face tats. The duos music started off as traditional hip hop but soon expanded to other genres of music such as indie, bedroom , punk pop and more. The topics of their song range from Mental Health issues  to metaphoric short stories. Their goal is to stray from generic brand of music to create new styles, sounds, and ideas. According to spotify they have listeners in over 75 countries and they hope to keep expanding. They are currently signed to the Indie Label Exquisite Noise. So far The Enchanted Plug has had two live shows in St. Louis so far and plan to have many more in the future. They are currently working on a couple of singles using experimental sound and a spooky themed indie pop/rock album for later in the year.
