In this two-part series, I talk about the real estate market and the value of an MBA. I was a real estate agent for almost 7 years and talk about how I feel a real estate license trumps an MBA for return on investment in episode I. In this episode, I'll talk about how to evaluate a real estate investment using two homes that are on the market today that I'm looking to possibly invest in.

As new graduates go out and the dust settles, they find themselves wondering if they should put money to student loans, credit card debt, investments, savings or towards a home. A pharmacist loan or doctor loan is a special type of loan with zero down no PMI. There are restrictions, but it may be a way to retain savings and have a little rental income (we had a roommate as residents) while enjoying home ownership. Have a listen.
A Top-5 Pharmacy School Loses almost 40% of its applications in a single year according to recent data put out by AACP. I talk about what the pharmacy school application drop means and probably doesn't mean. Is it the application process (jumping on early admission) or a genuine disinterest in the profession as a career? I'm not sure.

Her background includes experience in event/tradeshow management (pre-pharmacy), leadership development (through PDC, LDS, and UTCOP), and pharmacy education. And, as a fellow runner, she thinks its normal to say "I ran 12 miles, then 13 miles the next day."

After hearing a #podcast episode on market saturation on RxRadio two days ago a P1 (just finished P1 year) reached out asking "should I quit pharmacy school?" The podcast reported that Kroger wasn't hiring ANY pharmacists, so I looked into the numbers for the big 5 from their own websites: CVS 880 openings/Walgreens 54/Walmart 169/Rite Aid 83/Kroger 32 so 1223 openings of the 60,588 jobs, so 98% filled. Many of these jobs are intern/hourly/float but some are salaried. What would you say?
