The influx, unrelated to the caravan, has crowded immigration holding areas and detention centers across the Southwest. The Border Patrol has released so many families, advocacy groups in Arizona and Texas have had to house them in churches and motels. I’m sure by now you’ve seen the news about the immigrant train, immigrant caravan, immigrant mob whatever you want to call it, heading to the United States from Central America. It’s hard to figure out by the news exactly what’s going on. There’s some reports that’s it’s 2,000, 4,000 I’ve heard 12,000 and 20,000 thrown out there. Some reports say it’s all men, other reports show women and children. Some reports say there’s 2 caravans, others say numbers are dwindling.
