Paul from the Who Will Survive horror podcast pulls the Movie Stack Jenga pick this week with Switchblade Sisters.  The episode has comparisons of a heavily edited German release with the original US theatrical cut due to Cort’s not being able to decipher the German menus from his imported BluRay prior to starting his notes.  Paul had chosen the film based solely on its catchy title and was completely unaware that this was Cort’s favorite Jack Hill Movie, just as Matt is unaware that “Phil” is not Paul’s name. Our Movie Stack Jenga pick this week covers Day of The Animals.  Matt is too lazy to walk three feet to the conveyer belt to the studio and refuses to accept that it is three feet to the seat on the conveyer belt.  Cort decides to test the new bunker’s automated biological support system by slowly freezing Matt to death to see if the new system, now named B.A.B.S.S, can register the danger to Matt’s life.  The boys get so wrapped up in Day of the Animals that for the first time in the show’s history, they don’t get sidetracked enough for outtakes! Our Movie Stack Jenga pick this week yields a nasty little Italian crime film gem known in the states as Cry of a Prostitute and in Matt’s mind as City of Prostitutes which he was disappointed was not the case.  The sexualized violence contained in the film causes a rift and sexual hangups for the boys almost as much as Cort’s inability to accept that dead kids are not a good place to smuggle drugs in. Matt grows increasingly angry at him when Cort tries to discuss the logistics of hiding drugs in a child’s corpse as well as his lack of disgust at the thought of this being done.  The PSYOP news makes a double story return and things whip to a fever pitch as the episode closes with the boys worn out and dead inside. Our Movie Stack Jenga pick of The Haunted Palace is thrown for a loop when the proposed guest and Cort get down with the sickness. The obsessive drive to put out an episode pushes Cort beyond his suffering and Matt into the newly automated bunker to quarantine Cort and his SuperFlu.  The notes were written and the clips captured in the haze of a fever, the discussion and review recorded between coughing fits and dizziness as only the drive of the need to put out an episode every week kept captain trips at bay. Daeron of the Psychosemantic Podcast did investigative checks into the nefarious activities of the PSYOPS crew and uncovered not just one but two separate conspiracies to cover up future guest host appearances on the show.  Daeron was able to do this in record time when Cort posted that a guest spot was up for grabs when someone could put the pieces together as to who the next crossover would be and correctly named it.  Because he is so good at exposing us at every turn, we invited him back on the show where we exposed ourselves to him while talking about his movie pick Fido.
