This week, our guest Ryan Leak states that hurt people hurt others. Because of God's grace and deep love for us we are able to live in true freedom as we recognize our own need to forgive and to be forgiven. We are able to be an extension of Christ as we remember this, that just as the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
This week Chad speaks into pain. He reminds us of Jesus' deep love and compassion for us as He moves into our stories and into our pain. He doesn't move away, He takes a seat.
When we begin to understand the depth and width of Christ's love for us, we will start to see others the way Christ sees them.
This week, we celebrated Baptism weekend. Baptism is an act of joyful obedience. We are asked to step out of the crowd and to publicly identify our lives with Christ.
In this weeks message, Jill shared about the hope that wells up while Jesus is actively creating something new within us. As spring arrives, flowers begin to blossom, oak trees stand tall in strength, and new life bursts forth around us. One thing we have come to know about life is that life begins small and almost imperceptible.
Shawn states in his message that Jesus visited the world but he did life with the disciples. Who you do life with is vital to the health, direction, and joy of your journey.
This weekend, Eric shared the beautiful stories of what is happening in and through the country of India as the gospel is being proclaimed with courageous boldness.
In his sermon this week, Chad pointed out that although Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8) we are not. As we go through life, we continue to grow, learn, and change. It is one of the beautiful truths of what it means to be human.
Walking in the gift of salvation is one thing but walking in the freedom it offers is often a bit more challenging. Sometimes the shame or guilt from our past life lingers, holding us back from what God truly desires for us as a child of God.
The work on the cross is finished but God is just getting started with us. God is working in and through us, by the work of the Holy Spirit. So don't be discouraged with the ups and downs of life--God is not giving up on us.
Welcome to Easter at Red Rocks Church! When Jesus said, "It is finished" ... He was just getting started.
This weekend Chad preached about finding freedom in serving others.
This week Shawn preached about joy and that we are set free to enjoy today.
This week in our Live.Free series, Doug preached on the position and posture of our hearts as followers of Christ.
This week Chad preached on the story of the rich young ruler. This is one of the only times in the Bible where someone encounters Jesus and walks away sad. The big question is why? What is he holding onto that makes it so hard for him to accept the invitation Jesus gives him?
