Commentary on how 1940's writers tended to demonize non American antagonists.  Plus use of a very common word in 1941 which became awkward in today's world.

A trail of pornography infiltrating Los Angeles high schools leads to a run-down Hollywood studio and a movie has-been. Commentary on sexuality and the law in the 1950s. Plus, guest star Ralph Moody.

With Clark Kent releasing Perry White and Mr. Craig from their cells but not before asking them to stuff their street clothes with straw, he embarks on a risky escape that may get everyone killed. Commentary on the implausible scene with the dummies and string.

Gene Kelly makes his Suspense debut as Artie Kramer-a man with massive gambling debts who decides to backstab his cohorts and steal their money.  Commentary on Mr. Kelly and a look at the Man in Black who in this episode also serves as narrator which is a first for the series.

Something awful is happening at Benjamin Marlow’s home that involves someone shooting arrows into the house hoping to kill some or all of its members.  Commentary on how this episode compares to a Rube Goldberg machine.  Plus, how you can tell who is NOT guilty!

A voice on the phone and a strange melody warn a woman that she will die at midnight.  Commentary on new sponsor Colgate Tooth Powder.

Lois and Jimmy were sentenced to death for failing to tell the Incas where White and Kent were even though they did not know themselves.  Superman must find this Valley of the Shadows where Jimmy and Lois are being prepared for execution.  Commentary on the bravery of Lois Lane and the ongoing illness of Bud Collyer which has been affecting his performance.

A jewelry salesman is slugged and robbed of 20-thousand dollars in precious stone.  Friday knows who did it. He just needs to prove it. Commentary on the brilliant writing and performances and why this is a standout episode.  Plus, a rare Jack Webb blooper and the long, difficult road transitioning to television.

Lois and Jimmy await the method of their fate while Kent and White, dressed as Incas, join the procession not knowing the blond-haired figure who passed them by was Jimmy. Commentary on Superman's threats on an elderly Inca which was unlike the Superman of television.  Plus, the characters of Lois and Perry show real growth and depth in this episode.
