We operated under the callsign of KN5TR and had a really good time making contacts with a Buddipole on a Mastwerks Tripod, plus a homebrew dipole antenna, and a TN07 SFP-102 Vertical. The only draw-back is that it is monoband, but if you are mostly using a hotspot anyway, then this radio should work just fine for your needs.
