WHAT'S. UP. HOSERS?! Welcome to another edition of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness. This week's guest is Christian's get, and a man who, after many successful years in the business, has finally gotten the chance to display his talents within the WWE, The Phenomenal One, AJ Styles! AJ took the guys through his career before WWE, from TNA to New Japan, before touching on what it was like to debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble. He also talked wanting to face Shinsuke Nakamura at a future WrestleMania and what it was like to work with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33.  Talking TAG TEAM WRESTLING, Tales From the Indies with TOMMAY, and Your Voicemails! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:27:58

What's up, Hosers?! This week's E&C Pod is a special one, as the guys take an in-depth, extended look at tag team wrestling. The origin, how things evolved, then devolved, then evolved again, and amazing stories from their time as tag team wrestlers. I won't ruin anything, but there's some great advice from Stone Cold Steve Austin in there (the real one), Edge talks about nearly teaming with a former IC champ to create a "New" version of an old, legendary tag team, and Christian reveals what it took for him to finally cut off his long hair. And before that, we have some of your voicemails, including one that's, um, interesting? Plus TOMMAY returns to the show to talk about his Australia trip and reclaim his segment from Hobo Hank. Here we go.

Samoa Joe and The Mean Street Posse's Pete Gas | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:04:00

What's up, Hosers?! In advance of Sunday's WWE Great Balls of Fire PPV, E&C sat down with the man who's going toe to toe with Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe! And when I say the guys sat down with Joe, it's kind of true. Christian drove to his house and made himself comfortable instantly, ensuring that he'll never be asked back again. In addition to covering GBOF, Joe reminisced with E&C and talked about some of his favorite all-time opponents, before finding out that Christian was following him via LiveJournal, even before they knew each other. But before the guys talked to Joe, they had to catch up with another old friend, The Mean Street Posse's own, Pete Gas. In addition to his book "Looking at the Lights: My Path from Fan to a Wrestling Heel," Pete talked about his time with the WWE, misconceptions about his Greenwich upbringing, and not mocking Edge when he last saw him, even though Shane McMahon had asked him to. All that, plus some singing and a Great Gazoo reference. It's a jam-packed show... Here. We. Go.

The Queen, Charlotte Flair and Tales From the Indies with Hobo Hank! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:17

What's up, Hosers?! Welcome to another Pod of Awesomeness. This week, E&C are joined by a woman whose work in the WWE has been flat out jaw-dropping, The Queen, Charlotte Flair. Charlotte talked about how she's feeling after not one, but two Money in the Bank ladder matches, what it was like having her dad, the legendary Ric Flair, as her manager, how her athletic background has helped her in the ring, and the match where everything "clicked" for her as a wrestler. But before E&C spoke with The Queen, they wanted to hear some Tales From the Indies, and since TommyTommyTommy has been away for the past few weeks, they enlisted the services of Albuquerque's finest--HOBO HANK! Hank came on to talk about recently dropping his title, and was given some top notch marketing ideas that'll help him take his character to the next level. Also, the guys analyzed in-ring psychology, talked about Nia Jax's potential, and Christian needs someone to lend him a VCR so he can watch his old tryout tape. Here we go.

What's up Hosers?! Welcome to another edition of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness. Today, we go in depth with one of the WWE's newest superstars, Mike Kanellis! Mike took us through his entire professional career--the highs, the lows, and everything in between--and how the road he traveled down eventually led to his debut at WWE's Money in the Bank PPV. Also, he did some singing with Edge and Christian, and touched on how, at one point, Edge's Alter Bridge theme music became an integral part of his in-ring repertoire. All that, plus E&C talk Headlock on Hunger's food drive, the continuing evolution of Jinder Mahal, the women's Money in the Bank ladder match, and Christian looks up a few words on Google. Here we go!

What's up there, 5 Second Hosers? Welcome to the latest edition of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness. This week, Edge and Christian talk to a man who can only be described using one adjective--GLORIOUS. Fellow Canadian Bobby Roode joins the pod to talk about everything, from wrestling Edge three months into his career to the conception of his theme song (which was used by the Predators during the NHL playoffs), and his ascent to NXT Champion. Also, E&C remember some great times with Dusty Rhodes, discover a baby who laughs uncontrollably at "Here we go," attempt to sing System of a Down's "Chop Suey," and give their final thoughts on the Stanley Cup Final. Here we go.

An In-Depth Look at Ladder Matches, Tommy's Tales From the Indies, and Voicemails! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:55:11

What's up, 5 Second Hosers?! Welcome to another Pod of Awesomeness. On today's show... E&C do some catching up before listening to voicemails and welcoming Sir #TommyTommyTommy Dreamer back onto the show, to talk about his Tales From the Indies. He wrestled a few big ones in North Carolina, and gave us a House of Hardcore exclusive for his upcoming shows in Australia. Then, we had the main event: Ladder matches. E&C talk through the history of the ladder match, some of their favorites to watch, their favorites that they've been a part of, the scariest bumps they've taken, and the time a hurricane almost ruined one of their most memorable ladder matches. We've got all that, plus a bit of a mock mock challenge for the Hosers. Here we go.

Nattie Neidhart and Talking Boone: The Bounty Hunter with John Morrison | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:42:15

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to another Pod of Awesomeness. On this week's show E&C catch up with a couple of old friends. First, John Morrison joined the pod to talk about his movie Boone: The Bounty Hunter--the sacrifices he made to see the project through, and what it was like to do his own stunts. For more info about the film, head to http://www.boonethebountyhunter.com/ Next, the guys talked to a woman who's putting together a legendary WWE career, and comes from a long line of legends--Nattie Neidhart! Nattie bonded with Christian over their love of cats and talked working with Charlotte, how filming Total Divas helped her pen a Hall of Fame speech for Beth Phoenix, and of course, her upcoming Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Here we go.

Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley Break Down Their Match From WWF's In Your House: Mind Games | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:41:56

The wait is over! It's time for the first ever ANATOMY OF A MATCH. Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley were gracious enough to join E&C's Pod of Awesomeness to talk about their 1996 bout at WWF's In Your House: Mind Games. They touched on not having wrestled each other before, why the title being on the line became a secondary storyline, and the move sequence that's fooled wrestlers and fans alike, for years. It was great to hear two legends of wrestling talk about a match that, for the most part, flies under the radar and doesn't always quite get the praise it deserves. Also, before catching up with Shawn and Mick, E&C jumped on the phone with this month's fan contest winner, DJKNOWSKILLZ, commented on Jinder Mahal winning a title, and laughed about Shane McMahon Mock Mocking a picture of Tony Chimel on TV (shout out to the 5 Second Hosers for pointing that out). Ok, enough talk, enjoy the show. Here we go!

Bad Gimmicks, Tommy Dreamer's Tales From the Indies, Hockey with Jeremy Roenick, and Announcing the first ANATOMY OF A MATCH! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:10:34

This week's Pod of Awesomeness is PACKED, like when you go on vacation with a small bag and can't get the zipper closed, so you just leave it open and hope nothing falls out. Ok, maybe no one actually does that, but you get the point. First up, we announced our inaugural Anatomy of a Match, which will be available for your listening pleasure next Friday, May 26th. It's a big one. Then, Jeremy Roenick joined the show to talk a little playoff hockey. THEN, Tommy Dreamer stopped by to deliver us some more Tales From the Indies, before the guys announced the winner of our May contest, in which we asked you, the fans, to name yourselves. And finally, E&C dug deep into the world of bad gimmicks, including some bad ones that they had over the years. Tons of announcements, a couple of guests, and tons of gimmicks. Here we go.

The Big Red Machine, Kane! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:56:38

Every episode of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness is a lot of fun, but this one was pretty special because the guys got to sit down with a man who rarely ever does interviews for podcasts. The Big Red Machine and WWE legend, Kane! Kane, known as Glenn Jacobs to those who will be voting in Knox County's mayoral election next spring, talked about everything, from his career in politics to being proud the WWE Women's Division, and how hard the decision was to wrestle as a different rendition of Kane, one without the signature mask. Also, the guys tell stories about their time in WWE with Glenn, and Christian details the nightmares he used to have about Kane before he met, and started working with, him. Plus, some more hockey talk, an update on how our May fan name contest is going, and we open up the voicemail box to see what you guys are up to. Here we go.

The Young Bucks Discuss Dream Opponents, Facing the Hardy Boyz, ROH, and WWE | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:39:01

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to another episode of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness. For your safety, do not listen while operating heavy machinery. On today's show, Edge and Christian talk to one of wrestling's most exciting tag teams, THE YOUNG BUCKS. Matt and Nick gave us a ton of their time, talking about what it was like to face their childhood heroes, the Hardy Boyz, dream opponents they'd like to have a match with, getting ribbed at a live event by Edge, and how they come up with their insane signature moves, like the IndyTaker. Also, we talked to the winner of our voicemail contest, Andrew, AKA Stone Cold, caught up with writer Mike Kingston, who talked about his latest comic "Headlocked," and the guys made their early Stanley Cup Final picks. Shhhhuuup, here we go!

NXT's Eric Young, Tommy Dreamer's Tales From the Indies, and Stone Cold vs. Morgan Freeman in Voicemail FINAL! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:33:34

Welcome to the latest edition of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness, the podcast that strives to make you look weird for laughing loudly in public. On this week's show we sneak-attacked NXT's Eric Young, who thought he was headed to Christian's for lunch, only to learn that he was going to be a guest on the pod. Eric was fine with it, though, and talked about his journey to NXT, lacking life skills, the abundance of wrestling talent that has come from Canada, and training The Perfect 10, Tye Dillinger. Also, Tommy Dreamer dropped in to tell some more Tales From the Indies. Broken rings, angry managers, and ideas for how Tommy could work an eye patch into his matches--this Tales From the Indies had it all. And finally, after weeks of great entrants, we narrowed the field down to two; Stone Cold vs. Morgan Freeman in our voicemail impression final! It was tough to choose a winner, but one of these two impression gurus will be making an appearance on next week's show! Here we go.

Hopefully you've properly prepared your earholes, because this week Edge and Christian are coming in hot. They got to catch up with some Top Guys, RAW's newest tag team, The Revival!
