The Savior of Misbehavior, RAW and SmackDown's commentator, and quite possibly the voice of a generation, Corey Graves. Among the topics discussed were fatherhood, what it was like transitioning from in-ring performer to commentator, and how he handles the urge to go to the bathroom during a broadcast. This week on E&C's Pod of Awesomeness, we have the man who was supposed to come on the show last week (technical difficulties), the inspiration behind The Ballad of Little Dave Batista....Batista! E&C kicked things off by playing his anthem, of course (sung by Brian Gewirtz), before talking everything from his last run in the WWE, to landing Guardians of the Galaxy and his love of selling in the ring. Also, in case you were wondering, yes, Christian sort of messed up Batista's house--not as bad as Samoa Joe's, but enough. First, the Phoenixed One answered a few questions, before the Rocket Strappers went on a question-answering rampage of their own. The result? A ton of great stories, a hypothetical WrestleMania card, and the revelation that Christian will not, under any circumstances, wear shorts. Oh, also, we had the first EVER audio mock mock, an audio run-in, and The Rocket Strappers shared their thoughts on Jericho-Omega. It was a fun one, folks. HERE WE GO.

On today's show, the Strappers start off by talking about the new year--how they're feeling, a prediction or two, and how they can take Rocket Strapping to an even higher level. Then, it was time to catch up with Tommmmmay #TommyTwitch, regarding his latest Tales From the Indies, and he did not disappoint. I won't ruin anything, I'll just say these two words--ceiling dandruff. Tommy also talked House of Hardcore on Twitch, and about an upcoming Summer tour. And finally, Sir Thomas agreed to stick around to talk tech and social media within wrestling, with E, C, and The Hurricane! From wrestling magazines and tape trading, to Twitter handles and streaming networks, the industry has gone through a huge transformation. The group talked about the pros and cons, how they adjusted to the change as it was happening, and the wrestlers who have wisely used today's tech and social tools to their advantage. Enjoy, Hosers. What's up, Hosers?! Welcome to another episode of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness. This week, The Rocket Strappers took the pod international, speaking with The Alpha Female, Germany's Jazzy Gabert. You may remember Jazzy from the The Mae Young Classic, where she was excellent, but the story behind what it took for her to reach that point in her career could be made into a movie. A tumultuous childhood, scratching and clawing to get trained as a wrestler, a stint in TNA, MMA fights--It's incredible. That said, Jazzy also talked a bit about the Women's Royal Rumble and her current status with the WWE. This week the Rocket Strappers spoke with the Singh Brothers, who detailed the incredible, inspiring journey that led them to the WWE. These guys personify the word resilience. Also, the Singhs reminisced about the time they took Edge hiking to pick his brain, and Christian cooked up an alternative gimmick for them, in case they wind up needing it down the road. Before talking to the Singhs, though, E&C answered a few fan questions and caught up with Beth Phoenix, who shared her thoughts on the upcoming women's Royal Rumble! Welcome to another edition of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness! This week, the Rocket Strappers are in the same room once again, at Edge's house in North Carolina, before the Birdman migrates south for the holidays. They kicked things off by talking about the WWE's upcoming mixed-tag tournament, before revealing that this episode of the pod was going to be dedicated to the 10 year anniversary of...The Edgeheads. After unsuccessfully trying to get Ryder on the phone, Hawkins called in to reminisce about being one half of the Edgeheads--how the gimmick got started; how he and Ryder picked the names they've carried into present day; what it was like being such a prominent part of a Wrestlemania match, at such a young age; and the one time that Edge actually got hot at them. Edge, Christian, and Curt also talked Zack Ryder--his wrestling figure collection and how blown up he was in his ECW match against The Bird--before calling to give him one last shot at being on the show. She touched on what it was like to jump from NXT to WWE, potentially turning heel one day, and her desire to see a WWE women's tag division. Also, Edge informed Bayley that she's Lyric's favorite wrestler, and Bayley told the Rocket Strappers a story about what happened when she said "PFFFT HERE WE GO" in front of Michael Hayes. Welcome to another edition of E&C's POD OF AWESOMENESS This week, The Rocket Strappers spoke with a man who strapped the rocket to himself, as he's had one hell of a career in the WWE, The Showoff, Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler talked with E&C about his amateur wrestling background, his early gimmicks within WWE, and his ascent to becoming WWE Champion. He also touched on his future, told some road stories, and described what it was like the first time he got on stage to do stand-up comedy (Christian gave Dolph a great opening line to use at future shows). This week, E&C spoke with a man who knew them well before they were strapping rockets to people, Sinn Bodhi (formerly known as Kizarney in WWE). Bodhi, who first met the Rocket Strappers when he was simply known as "Nick," reminisced about befriending E&C, their nicknames for one another, and his own journey within professional wrestling. He also spoke at length about the relationship he's cultivated with Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and his wrestling fantasy camp, Fantasy Slam. Also, before catching up with Sinn Bodhi, Birdman and Edge gave their thoughts on last Sunday's Survivor Series and answered a few questions from the Hosers! Happy belated Thanksgiving to all the American Hosers, and for the rest of you--hopefully you used yesterday as an excuse to eat a lot, even if it wasn't officially a holiday where you are. On this week's show, E&C surprised Tommy, who was in his healing cave when they called, and asked for his help in figuring out (or trying to, at least) some of wrestling's Mount Rushmores. And yes, it's pluralized--Rushmores--because EC&T broke things down into categories. So, they debated the Mount Rushmore of... The '80s The '90s ECW Cruiserweights Tag Teams NWA WCW WWF/WWE Entrance music ...just to name a few. What's up, Hosers?! Welcome to another....Pod of Awesomeness. This week, E&C's guest was none other than Big Mike, New Japan's Michael Elgin. Elgin, who's only 30, already has 14 years of wrestling experience under his belt, and told the Rocket Strappers all about it--how he started, who he feels most comfortable in the ring with, and the massive exposure that he's been offered while wrestling for NJPW. Among other things, Michael also spoke about the performers who influenced him while growing up, and the process of training up-and-coming wrestlers. Before getting to Big Mike, though, Edge and Birdman had a LOT to cover--the Jericho-Kenny Omega announcement, AJ's title win, last weekend's UFC card, ESPN's 30 for 30 on The Nature Boy, Ric Flair, and a big announcement from...TOMMAY!
