On this week's episode I had the pleasure of chatting with Jess of Pretty Prints and Paper. Jess is a blogger, teacher, bullet journaling & hand lettering enthusiast and all around creative boss lady. Jess keeps it simple. It's really easy to get wrapped up in "not having the right tools" or "messing up" when there's a blank page in front of you. But she does a great job at bringing it back to the basics while continually producing inspiring & aesthetically pleasing work.
This week we dive deep into harnessing the power and wisdom of our intuition. Lauren explains that by learning to listen to that inner voice -those gut feelings that we've been trained to ignore- we're better able to navigate our lives and follow our passions. Lauren is a teacher, author and guide of all things intuition. Her work has empowered numerous humans like you and I to tune in to what she call's the 'soul self,' so that we can feel more connected, supported and guided in our own lives.
In this week's episode I'm walking you through my seven go-to practices when I'm feeling the weight of the overwhelm. I use these like guiding principles -anchors to return home to, if you will- to lower stress and amp up productivity when I'm short on time and energy.
In this week's episode of Well + Weird I had the pleasure of chatting with Holly and Shauna of Good Morning Guru. Holly is a yoga teacher and marketing specialist based in Idaho, and Shauna is a holistic chef and nutritional wellness counsellor based in NYC. The combination of Holly and Shauna's work and passions paved the road for their super inspiring blog, Good Morning Guru.
Carrie Forrest is a blogger based in California who's mission is to create + share inspiration for healthy, happy, balanced living. Since Carrie was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease + later, thyroid cancer, she had to make some shifts when it came to her diet. In the episode Carrie and I hash out her reasons for transitioning out of veganism and learning to listen to her body's needs.
You guys already know what I'm about, but I wanted to share a story that I haven't really shared outside of my close personal circle. In honor of National Eating Disorder Awareness Week 2017 and their theme, Let's talk about it, I felt it was time to share MY body story; my struggles with food + body image.
Mara Glatzel is an Intuitive guide and energy healer- which if you know anything about my work you know intuition is at the core of every bit of what I'm about. Mara's all about cultivating safe, cozy spaces for women to be able to get back in tune with who they are and what they want. She invites women to get curious about their needs and helps them create the space they need to meet those needs.
Katie is an author, podcaster, mentor and journaling enthusiast. Her recently published book, Let It Out: A Journey Through Journaling, is one of my favorite tools for tuning into my intuition. Katie's podcast Let It Out, has been touted by The Huffington Post as one of 10 women hosted podcasts you should be listening to right now.
