Dr. John R. Lott, Jr., is an economist and a world recognized expert on guns and crime. He returns to Blunt Force Truth to talk about the factors that are not considered in gun and gun crime statistics. There are many reasons for distorted gun-related statistics and Dr. Lott breaks these down and explains them. Chuck and Mark ask Dr. Lott about the statistics on gun-free zones, mass shootings, and concealed carry. Dr. Lott explains how these three topics are dependent on each other and he shares the statistics that support his explanation. The discussion on gun-free zones and mass shootings leads them back to the reasons for distorted gun statistics. The trio also talk about other research organizations that put out distorted reports and their promotion of the liberal agenda. They then discuss the lack of research organizations protecting the second amendment, law enforcement, and other issues that have been skewed by the left.   About Dr. John R. Lott, Jr.: Dr. John R. Lott, Jr., has held research or teaching positions at various academic institutions including the University of Chicago, Yale University, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University, and Rice University, and was the chief economist at the United States Sentencing Commission during 1988-1989. Jason Piccolo has served in the federal government since 2000 and held positions in five different departments. Jason was the whistleblower about the Obama administration releasing unaccompanied alien children to criminal sponsors.  He tells his story of coming forward about this and what pushed him to make the decision to do so. The discussion moves into the issues that Jason faced when he did this and his ongoing litigation. Jason explains the difficulties of getting someone to listen to him and the subsequent retaliation for exposing the truth. His education background includes a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement from Minnesota State University, Mankato, a Master of Forensic Science with a focus on criminalistics from National University, and a Doctorate in Strategic Security from Henley Putnam University. Norbert explains the methods used to determine the most inefficient members of Congress. He uses his struggles during a personal attempt to run for Congress against incumbent Ted Yoho. Richter explains his inability to gain traction in the primary, describing parts of the super complex algorithm used to rate the congressman. Daniel Miller is President of the Texas Nationalist Movement, which advocates for Texas to succeed from the union. The Texas National Movement is the largest and most influential political organization in Texas and has held their position for over 20 years. Miller joins the show to discuss the realities and obstacles if Texas pursued the departure from the union. The discussion goes into the economic and security factors that come with Texas independence. They use historical and international situations to explain these different factors, as well as what will have to be tackled if Texas moves towards their independence.
