Chuck and Mark welcome back Nick Harlow for today’s show. Nick has spent more than a decade as a reporter and producer for multiple major news networks. He uses his experience to share a different perspective on topics and explains the disconnect in the media. They start off their discussion by discussing the recent bombs mailed to prominent individuals on the left. Nick shares his thoughts on the media’s coverage of the situation and their reporting without evidence. They also discuss some possibilities of where the bombs came from and the odd timing of the bombs being sent. Chuck and Mark ask Nick about his latest book and how his fictional stories are based on real-world situations. Nick explains his use of Marshall Law in his book and how his real-world experiences played into his writing. They continue by discussing the migrant caravan and who could be funding the caravan. They cover the danger of allowing the migrant caravan to step foot on U.S. soil and what President Trump has already done. This leads them into the left’s attempt to destroy the middle class and implement their socialist agenda. They finish up by getting Nick’s thoughts on some of the liberal media’s coverage and attempts to distract the American people with irrelevant stories. Chuck and Mark are Joined by Kevin Sorbo for a great conversation on the politics in Hollywood. They start off by discussing Hollywood’s hatred for conservatives and Christians, which Kevin explains is the reason that he has gone into independent filmmaking. Chuck and Kevin have both experienced Hollywood’s decision to cut shows for no reason, other than one person doesn’t like it. They explain how a select few individuals decide what the rest of the world will watch. Mark moves their conversation on to Kevin’s film, God’s not Dead, which landed in the top five dollar return for Hollywood films. Kevin explains that he could not get on any network, except Fox, to promote his faith-based film. Kevin explains the importance of small independent films and faith-based films. He shares how he has created his own production company and been able to get funding from people like Sean Hannity. They finish up their conversation by discussing how the progressive movement is destroying our country and that the truth is dangerous to their agenda. They discuss how the left is dividing our nation into groups and pitting them against each other. Kevin also jumps in to shares some of his thoughts about the far-left agenda that is appearing around our country. LTBL follows the life of the world’s greatest atheist and the road he follows where his beliefs are challenged. Another movie being released in the Fall of 2018 is One Nation Under God. The movie drama deals with controversy over that quote in our Nation’s Pledge of Allegiance. Two more releases for 2018 include The Reliant, which is a drama dealing with the economic collapse of America.  Bernie, the Dolphin hits theaters in December of 2018. Upcoming projects include, East Texas Oil, which Sorbo is directing/acting and Carpool Lane, starring opposite Dean Cain. He also recently produced BreatheBible.com which is a theatrical 18 CD collection reading of The New Testament. Over 80 actors voice the biblical figures, and Sorbo voices God – a nice upgrade from his half-god days on Hercules! Kevin released his memoir in 2012, True Strength: My Journey from Hercules to Mere Mortal and How Nearly Dying Saved My Life. The book chronicles his near-death experience when he suffered three strokes and the battle back to regain his life.

Chuck and Mark are joined by Professor Adam Winkler as they continue their exploration of the United States Constitution. We take a balanced, deep dive to help Americans better understand the foundations of our country. Today, they are discussing Article 3 of the Constitution, which pertains to the United States Judicial power. Professor Winkler explains what the Founding Fathers intentions for the judicial system were and how these powers factors into other aspects of our government. Their discussion covers the power that it grants to the U.S. Supreme Court and the processes put in place for the courts. Professor Winkler explains how the court decides what cases to take on and what type of cases they can hear, which includes how the Supreme Court cannot set their own agenda. On today’s show, we welcome back Victor Avila. Jr. Victor was recently on the show and shared a horrific story from his time in Mexico while working for Homeland Security. This time, Chuck and Mark get to ask Victor about the reality of what is happening on the border. They kick off the show by discussing child smuggling and the media’s claim that children are kept in cages if they are caught. Victor explains that the kids are being exploited for prostitution and slave labor if a child is smuggled in the U.S., but they are unable to find their parents. They discuss how immigration laws did not change under Obama. However, the way they were interpreted did change, specifically asylum laws. They continue to discuss that it is not only Mexican immigrants that are smuggled over the border, plus the large amount of money spent on smuggling. Victor adds that farmers on the border are forced to allow smugglers to use their land. He also clears up the question of why people who are kidnapped do not run away from smugglers that hold them captive and how the smugglers treat them. They start to wrap up the show by getting Victor’s thoughts on what needs to be done to improve our border. He offers his thoughts and explains exactly why or how it needs to be done. They discuss issues on every level that we have with our border and laws on immigration. More about Victor Avila Jr.: Mr. Victor Avila Jr. is a retired Homeland Security Special Agent with over 18 years of Law Enforcement experience.  Mr. Avila began his Special Agent career in the Office of Investigations in El Paso, Texas. In 2008, he was promoted to ICE Representative and worked at the ICE office in the U.S. Consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.  He was permanently assigned to the ICE Mexico City Attaché office where he served as an accredited diplomat and liaison to the Government of Mexico conducting international complex criminal investigations in a wide range of violations such as narcotics trafficking, arms trafficking, human trafficking/smuggling, financial violations, commercial fraud and counter terrorism. Mr. Avila also successfully led and oversaw the Global Trafficking in Persons initiative.  During his tenure, he addressed large groups of stakeholders on a variety of topics and briefed the Mexican Senate and congress committees in reference to HSI’s role in combating human trafficking, and also spoke before government officials and non-governmental organizations regarding human trafficking matters.  Further, Mr. Avila organized various large training conferences and seminars on human trafficking and money laundering as well as selection of the content of panel discussions and panel members.  In 2011, he was assigned to the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, Spain and served as the Assistant Attaché.  He supervised Special Agents and Local Engaged Staff and was responsible for the planning, organization, administration, coordination of HSI activities and the enhancement of the HSI Mission in Spain, Portugal, and Andorra which included investigations regarding intellectual property rights violations, fraud, human smuggling, human trafficking, drug trafficking, money laundering, commercial fraud, counter terrorism and national security investigations. As an Assistant Attaché Mr. Avila coordinated and conducted the first Cyber Crimes Investigation Training Seminar in Lisbon, Portugal as well as the first Human Trafficking-Cyber Crimes training Seminar for the Moss’s D’Esquadra Cataluña Police Force in Barcelona, Spain. Chuck explains firsthand experiences that back this claim, and he explains why the left misinforms people about AR-15s. They continue on about the issues that the NRA is having in New York when it come to purchasing insurance to protect their concealed carry members. Mark explains Andrew Cuomo’s attempt to bankrupt the NRA and his manipulation of the insurance industry. They consider how those that voiced their support for Venezuela’s socialist government have completely disappeared.
