They kick off the show by covering the Mueller report and the media’s downplaying the significance of its outcome. Chuck and Mark explain the why the Mueller report is a win for our nation and why Mueller wouldn’t leave out any details in his report. Their conversation moves into discussing Michael Avenatti’s indictment and the charges. Mark explains the severity of his crimes and why he will not escape these charges. Chuck and Mark also discuss Al Green’s claim that Trump should be impeached for his bigotry; the media turning on Mueller; and the twisting of William Barr’s appointment. They explain how these are a few examples proving that Democrats’ real goal was to remove President Trump. Project 21 is an initiative of The National Center for Public Policy Research to promote the views of African-Americans whose entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to family and commitment to individual responsibility have not traditionally been echoed by the nation’s civil rights establishment. They start off today’s show by discussing how the progressive left focuses on identity politics and issues like race. They explain the problem with trendy fads causing people to change their core beliefs. Council also explains the power of peer pressure on an individual’s core values. Chuck, Mark and Council move into discussing how the left portrays the U.S. as a horrible place, while people all over the world dream of coming here. Mark explains how being an American is an ideology built on individual freedoms and explains the difference between geographical Americans and philosophical Americans. They finish up today’s show by discussing the left’s claim of white privilege, the Jussie Smollett case, and Hollywood’s depiction of religion and the Constitution. They explain how Jussie Smollett damaged our entire country and exacerbated issues created by the left. More About Council Nedd: In 2005, Bishop Nedd became the youngest bishop in the world, and in 2010, the youngest archbishop in the world. As Archbishop of the Episcopal Missionary Church, Bishop Nedd presided over Anglican churches in the United States, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). During 2011 while living in the UAE, Bishop Nedd had multiple private audiences with members of the royal family. One of the crowning achievements of his term as archbishop has been the successful rescue of an entire family of persecuted Syrian Christians, whom he helped establish asylum in Scotland. Bishop Nedd facilitated an unprecedented intercommunion agreement with the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and also led delegations to ecumenical dialogues with the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Presiding Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land. Bishop Nedd’s interest in education and young people led him to take a two-year sabbatical from the politics of Washington, to teach U.S. history and to establish and coach a policy debate team at a public charter high school in the nation’s capital. Bishop Nedd also helped establish a rugby team at another D.C. charter school, serving kids from underserved communities. Although no longer teaching, Bishop Nedd has provided scholarships to assist needy children, has established a primary school in Nairobi, Kenya, and even raised money to reopen and staff an orphanage in Abuja, Nigeria. Despite all the demands on Bishop Nedd’s time, he still manages to preach at St. Alban’s Anglican Church in State College, PA about 45 Sundays per year while also serving as a Pennsylvania State Constable. Chuck shares the news that he has added a French Bulldog named Charlie to his family. They quickly move into discussing the anger and unhappiness of the left. They discuss how the left always must have a crisis and how the United States ends up being blamed for all things bad that happen in the world. Chuck and Mark continue to discuss the attacks on the Constitution, and the silencing of conservative voices is just one example. They explain how the left is always looking for something that they can fix and use fear to push their issues. Their conversation moves into talking about the progressive left’s elitism and their mindset of being above the rest of the country. They also discuss some of the Democratic candidates running in the 2020 Presidential election. They finish up today’s show by discussing how universal basic income is not sustainable. On this episode of Blunt Force truth, Chuck and Mark are joined by Professor Adam Winkler as they continue their exploration of the United States Constitution. They take a balanced, deep dive to help Americans better understand the foundations of our country. For this installment of our Constitutional series they discuss the first three Constitutional Amendments. They start off by discussing why the U.S. Constitution needed amendments right after it was written. Also, Professor Winkler explains the difference between federalist and anti-federalist. They discuss the First Amendment of the Constitution, which is the Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly, and Petition. Professor Winkler explains the importance of the First Amendment when it comes to speaking out against the government and creating a free marketplace for ideas. Chuck and Mark ask Professor Winkler how the First Amendment pertains to some recent free speech issues. They move into covering the Second Amendment, which is the Right to Bear Arms. They discuss why a well regulated militia was important for the Founding Fathers and what they meant by that. Professor Winkler explains why the historical context is important to consider when looking at the Second Amendment and what the Founding Fathers used gun registrations for. The finish up today’s show by discussing the Third Amendment, which refers to quartering of soldiers. They move quickly through the Third Amendment since it is no longer relevant. Professor Winkler explains why quartering of the soldier was a concern for the Founding Fathers, but he also explains how the Supreme Court has never heard a Third Amendment case. On this episode of Blunt Force Truth, Chuck and Mark are joined by Dr. Peter Ward to find out more about the realities of climate change. Dr. Peter Ward spent almost three decades with the United States Geological Survey and has come out of retirement to try to understand what really causes global warming. They kick off the show by discussing the problems with climate scientists reporting the correlation and causation and how this has put the blame on greenhouse gasses. Dr. Ward explains how the use of CFC gases during the 70s and 80s played a significant role in weakening our atmosphere. Their conversation continues as Dr. Ward explains why he does not except the belief that CO2 and other greenhouse gases are the cause of climate change. He also explains the significant impact that volcano eruptions have on climate change, which is usually ignored during climate change debates. Chuck and Mark break down Dr. Ward’s explanation of why much of the scientific study of climate change is not looking at the causation. They also explain how many scientists have just accepted the same beliefs on climate change to gain acceptance within the scientific community and to protect their project funding. They finish up by discussing the how the true crisis today is not the climate but the scientists. They discuss how difficult it is to gain support from scientists in the field and how Dr. Ward’s findings are ignored for reasons outside of his scientific findings. More about Dr. Peter Ward: Dr. Peter Langdon Ward earned a BA at Dartmouth College in 1965 and a PhD at Columbia University in 1970. He worked 27 years with the United States Geological Survey as research geophysicist, branch chief, and program manager. He helped develop and manage a major national research program, chaired a committee at the White House, testified twice before Congress, worked on a committee for Vice President Gore, was lead author on more than 50 scientific papers, and won two national awards for explaining science to the general public. He retired in 1998. In 2006, Ward discovered several enigmatic observations related to climate change and has dedicated his life since then, at his own expense, trying to understand what really causes global warming.
