Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) took to the Senate floor this week to make the case that, yes, whistleblowers should have better protection whether government employees or contractors, but, he said, legislation and statutes cannot supersede the US Constitution, which gives everyone the right to face their accuser. So, should the CIA "whistleblower" be forced to appear before the Congressional impeachment committees?

Former CIA officer Phil Giraldi joins today's Liberty Report to discuss the breaking scandal over the Obama Administration's intelligence leaders and the plot against candidate Trump. Then-CIA Director John Brennan reportedly set up a CIA task force early in 2016 to surveil and even conduct covert actions against candidate and then President Trump. Does the CIA and other intelligence agencies in the US have the right to overthrow a president if they don't like him? Is that the kind of government we want? Or should people start going to jail...

President Trump yesterday claimed he would be leaving US troops in Syria to make sure no one takes the oil. Leaving aside who's oil it actually is (hint: it's in Syria). What are the logistics and what is the wisdom of leaving a couple of hundred US troops dispersed through Syria to guard oil facilities? Good move? Dumb move?

President Trump announced this morning that the US would continue to withdraw from Syria and allow the countries in the region to solve their own border disputes. He claims the US was 100 percent responsible for the destruction of ISIS. He blamed the Obama Administration for not removing Assad, blaming him for gassing his own people. Is the war over?

His shocking mental and physical condition after being held for months in UK's notorious Belmarsh prison only confirms the UN torture official's assessment that he is being tortured by the US and UK governments.
