Can you relate with feeling uncomfortable in your own skin? I can. In this episode, I'm diving deep into my own experience of growing up biracial, and the disempowering (and sometimes empowering) stories, perceptions and beliefs that I carried around with me.
How many of us can relate to feeling like we don’t know where we’re going in life? Or the feeling of being lost and confused, even when you’re “supposed” to have it all together? Maybe you’ve always felt that way, or perhaps you’ve just slipped into that state and are looking for a way out. In today’s episode I’m doing something I haven’t done yet on the Having It A.L.L. podcast, I’m answering an email from a listener.
When was the last time you had a major breakdown in confidence and self worth? In today's episode I'm sharing the story of attending my wife's high school reunion. I went through the gamut of emotions, limiting beliefs, and self deprecating stories, leading up to and during this reunion. I questioned my abilities as an entrepreneur, husband and provide. It was fascinating!!
What is sexual energy? Before a few years ago, I wouldn’t have a clear answer for you. Today I can shed a little more light on the topic, from my experiences and conversations, but I’m still a baby in that area (and that keeps me humbled and excited!) One thing I know is that sexual energy is life energy, and it’s a vital part of who we are as humans. That’s what I choose to believe anyway.
How are the decisions you're making and the person you're being, giving those around you permission to play small and stay in their fears? In this episode I'm exploring why we look to others to help us stay in our fears, and am giving you things to think about next time you are on the fence yourself.
What's the point of going after anything that's reasonable in life? I absolutely love this question because I believe answering it gets to the core of what we are all playing for in life. HAVING IT ALL and experiencing an unreasonable amount of abundance and love in every area of life. That's worth going after! I'm psyched for this episode because it marks the kickoff of the new Having It A.L.L. season.
How aware are you of the impact your relationships are having on your health? In today's episode (which is a rebroadcast of the show from July 11 2016), I'm diving into relationships (and I'm not talking about relationships in the way you might be thinking). This episode will get you thinking.
When you discover that your partner has been holding onto a lie, how does that impact your relationship? Today I have a special episode for you! I'm bringing you my entire conversation with Paul Colaianni where we talk about lies in relationships, from The Overwhelmed Brain Podcast, .
When it comes to podcasting, I'm not just a guy behind the mic. I'm also a guy behind the people behind the mics, meaning that I also produce shows for folks! You can learn about that at www.Done4UPodcasting.com One of the shows I produce is for my badass wife, Sarah Bivens. Her new podcast is called "The Balance and Motherhood Podcast", and on today's episode I'm giving you all a sneak peak into her new show.
Who will you become in 2018? We're all used to setting new years resolutions and goals for what we want to DO in the upcoming year, but rarely do we make time for a much more important exercise -- being clear on who we want to become in the new year.
In today's episode I'm sharing with you three mindsets that have been the biggest catalysts for my personal transformation over the past 4 years. From my self confidence, to the quality of my relationships, to my ability to attract money and create wealth, these 3 things have been the spark for them all. This episode was inspired by a question I was asked last week, "What would you attribute to the huge transformation you've made in your life over the past 4 years?".
Have you ever wanted to get a look behind the curtain at someones relationship? My wife Sarah and I host a podcast together called Doing It At Home. On that show listeners hear us being ourselves - a fun, goofy, dynamic couple that enjoys a bit of banter, a few mild jokes at the others expense, tons of love and support for each others greatness. All of that comes through on that show. And listeners of the show reach out to show us appreciation for how we appear on the podcast.
Who is holding you accountable to stepping into your greatness, healing your traumas and living your best life? We hear a lot in personal growth circles the “importance of accountability”. In my opinion it’s the biggest factor to moving through blockages and achieving your goals. Not just corporate, career or business goals, but personal growth, healing and happiness goals!
In today’s episode I’m bringing you a great conversation I had with Adam Roa. Sometimes I feel like I have the coolest gig in the world, because I get to spend time hanging out with people like Adam. He is a coach, poet, speaker, podcaster and lover. I through that last descriptor in there because one of the ways in interpreted Adam’s mission is to help people remember that they are love, and to move them closer to a state of being love - towards themselves, others and life itself.
In today's episode I'm sharing my comments on the final words of David Cassidy, who passed away this past Tuesday at the age of 67. As shared by his daughter Katie Cassidy, his final words were "So much wasted time." Those words impacted me in a profound way.
