Preached At Thanksgiving Convention (Day 1) Conquests of hard followers of God will be distinct even as the world gets tougher. Bishop Eddy couldn’t be teaching a timelier message to our generation of casual-seekers. Limited knowledge of God is the reason why most Christians are doing no exploits. God has both ways and acts. Only hard God- chasers uncover both treasures. And only such followers do conquests. A tragedy in today's church is the large number of congregants who do not know God personally. Consequently, there's a lack personal spiritual power in their lives. Every child of God must come to the place of having a personal encounter with God. This shapes the quality of relationship and devotion that we have with Him. Bishop Eddy addresses passionately one of the banes of Christianity today. He stresses how personally relating with God ensures we walk in the fullness of the power and wisdom Christ gives to us.

In our attempts to find God, we sometimes fall into the error of thinking that He doesn't care for us because it takes more effort than we expect. Those who do so will see the wonders of God in the deep(Psalm 107:23&24)!

Becoming born again should not put an end to our search for God. Our pursuit of God should be a lifelong agenda from which we do not relent. When we commit to seeking God, we will find Him, and when we find him, we cannot let Him go! Let your deepest desire be to seek the Lord. In Him is loving-kindness,tender mercies, and great grace to do exploits.

We enjoy confidence and stability when we know we serve the Almighty God. The Bible says those who know their God shall be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32b). Listen as Bishop Eddy reveals the abundant help we have in the Lord and how His limitlessness makes us conquerors in this life.
