SSP 005: Money Rules with Jean Chatzky | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 21:31

How would you like to know the simple path to lifelong security? In this episode of The Social Strategy Podcast we speak with Jean Chatzky about her book Money Rules. Since this interview was done at the Financial Bloggers Conference I grabbed Jean when she had a free moment to talk about everything from the Government shutdown to why your business is not your retirement plan. It's a short talk but Jean really gives some great information so take a listen and make sure listen all the way through. There's going to be a chance for you to get something special at the end of the podcast. I had a great time speaking with Jean.  She was so approachable and very easy to talk to even though she's so well known.  So in the interest of full disclosure there was an interview that should have been setup beforehand but there were some crossed wires and things that happen when you try to schedule really busy people like Jean.  I was actually on the phone with the PR person when I saw Jean sitting there.  Now she could have said no I don't have time to talk to you right now or a number of things that would have been fine but she didn't which I think speaks to her character. [Disclaimer: None of the information in this podcast should be taken as financial advise or a recommendation and is for informational purposes only] In this episode we chat about: * Why small business owners are making a huge mistake when it comes to retirement. * 401 k's actually work.  Even for small business. * Advisors are good for you.  Jean explains what type of advisor you should seek out. I also address a couple of emails I received from people about Facebook pages and if you should use a personal page or a business page.  My answer may shock you so listen in to find out more.   Resources and Links in this Episode Include: Buy Jeans Book: Money Rules – The Simple Path to Lifelong Security Money School – It's Currently Sold Out – I'll update this post when the next session is ready to enroll students.
