We all face moments in our lives where we feel under pressure, sometimes more than others. That pressure can either cause us to run toward sin and "fixes of the flesh", or run toward God and true peace. He promises to bring us through our times of adversity if we'd trust Him to meet us at our point of need.
God designed His Church (His children) to function in such a way where we link arms with one another and help each other in our journey. While we can worship God alone anytime, we can't be a working member of His family without actually being involved and living life together!

Alcohol is something that many have used to ruin their lives, but alcohol itself isn't a sin. When we choose to do something, whether it's drinking alcohol or any other thing, we need to make sure that we're doing it for the glory of God. Rather than getting drunk with alcohol, the Bible instructs us to "get drunk in the Spirit", and let Him lead us and guide us in the things He wants us to do.

When we find ourselves in difficult circumstances, the best decision to make is to call out to God and ask for His help, then keep our eyes open to recognize how He chooses to help us.

Like a parent disciplines a child out of love and concern for their healthy character-development and decision-making ability, God disciplines those He loves for the spiritual version of those same dynamics. This proof of God's love for us helps us to grow in obedience, experiencing firsthand that His loving discipline refines us, to be used to further His kingdom.
God’s Word may not always make sense, but we know by our faith (and most probably past experiences) that He can be trusted, and so when He makes promises that declare His love for us, we can cling to those promises in the midst of trials and pain.
For a believer to be persecuted for proclaiming Jesus as Savior, is the highest honor! The Bible tells us that we'll face suffering merely for living Godly lives, but that our relationship with God is more valuable than avoiding that suffering.
The Bible says that there’s not one positive thing associated with worrying - unless we WANT less peace, less calm, less hair, less days in our life! So even though there are countless things going on in our world that could cause worry, God offers His perfect “worry-repellent” through a relationship with Him and a growing knowledge of His Word as a potent cure for worrying!
Just like there's beautiful diversity within the body of Christ (many different equally important parts making up one healthy body), there also must be beautiful diversity with the people who make up the body of Christ! This forms a Church full of unity, celebrating each person's individual uniqueness.
There are two dynamics in play when it comes to our spiritual journey with God. First, no matter what our past is filled and stained with, He offers us a CLEAN SLATE because of Jesus' sacrifice for our sins. Secondly, having received the priceless gift of salvation, it's our honor and responsibility to share this good news of God's grace and mercy with others.
There's a difference between humble confidence and fake humility, and confidence is rightly available to us in Christ. Now, there's nothing wrong with seeing ourselves how God sees us, and once we realize He loves us, and we grow to love Him, we can then love others just as we love ourselves!
God wants to utilize believers as a pipeline for Him to give to us, and through us to other people. All our material possessions, resources, finances, everything's been given to us by God, and sometimes He calls us into the simple act of obedience to give something away to someone else. When we trust Him and obey His call, He continues to provide for all that we need!
