On A Roll | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

We make decisions, big and small, every single day. But how often do we consult the Lord before we act? When we fail to seek God's counsel and make choices hastily, we frequently find ourselves in a lot of trouble that could've otherwise been avoided. But when we pray and wait on Him to give us His answer, the reward is always worth the wait!

Road Narrows | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Scripture warns us that most people will choose the wide and easy path in life because it's self-centered and self-serving. But only the narrow path leads to Christ and fullness of life! One of the best ways we can tell if we're growing in our relationship with God is by looking at the path we're on -- is it continuing to narrow as we draw closer to Him?

Can Do | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

God asks each of us to do things in obedience to Him. The question is: are we too afraid to do them? The answer to overcoming our fears isn't found in positive thinking, or in believing in our own abilities -- it's found in trusting that God will enable us to do everything He's called us to do. We don't need to be fearful when He tells us to step out in faith. Instead, let's trust that God won't ask of us without also equipping us!

 You’re Up | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

As new believers, we start out in spiritual infancy. But we aren't meant to stay there! We should be continuously growing in our relationship with God, and a mark of spiritual maturity is that we grow to a place of being able to help other new Christians. When we follow Jesus, He calls us to do things for His Kingdom's work -- let's be ready to obey and do whatever He asks of us!

Spittin’ Image | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

There's a story in Scripture about a man who was born blind, and Jesus restored his sight. God used this man's tough circumstances to reveal Himself through healing, and in the end, He was glorified through it. In the same way, God can use the difficulties in our own lives for His glory -- let's trust Him and proclaim His goodness in all things!

Dirt Poor | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

When it comes to hearing the Word of God, we all fall into one of four categories. Some hear the Word and reject it. Others hear it and get excited at first, only to have the enthusiasm fade. A third group of people can hear and accept, but they're too distracted by other things in life for it to make much of a difference. But then there are those who hear the Word and it resonates deep within them, causing them to grow and produce spiritual fruit. Want to know which category you fall into? Just take a look at your life -- is it producing any fruit?

Reign Check | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Most believers would agree that Jesus is King and Lord of all. So why do we keep trying to take over His throne? When He's in charge of our lives and we're submitting to His authority, things might not always work out the way we want them to, but there's a heavenly reward for obedience that we can't see. By allowing Jesus to rule and reign in our lives, our purpose -- to glorify Him -- is fulfilled!

 Monster-In-Law | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Scripture mandates that a man must leave his family in order to be joined to his wife. But what do you do when you have a parent who won't let go? The Bible clearly instructs mothers and fathers to not only train their children when they're young, but to let them leave when they're grown. As adults, we can make a distinction between obeying our parents and honoring them -- and doing the latter in a way that also honors God!
