The Perfecting Church

God placed us on this earth. But He never intended for us to become products of the earth. His intent was for us to remain subject to Heaven's Government -- The Kingdom, living as one with each other, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. But we've become more influenced, directed and controlled by earthly things and the god of this world than His Kingdom. We must become seekers. We must become hungry. We must become desperate for our King and every word that has come and is coming out of His mouth. extension of His Kingdom already established in Heaven. The Kingdom is God's order. It's His government. It's His influence, control and direction over His territory/domain. We must learn to seek the Kingdom so it can be as He intended -- "As in Heaven So in Earth."

God the Father always intended for His family in the earth to live as He, the Son, and the Holy Spirit live in Heaven. Distinctly different persons living as family, operating in communion with one another, submitted to the Father's order and will. The family in the earth was simply to be an extension of His Kingdom already established in Heaven. The Kingdom is God's order. It's His government. Before the creation of the world God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit were One in family, functioning as One in community and yielded to only One will -- in Kingdom. It was God's will to extend that Kingdom (His governing presence) into the earth. But man who was created in d began to function self-centeredly ruining community in the earth. Jesus came extending the Father's love to restore what had become an endangered species -- The Family.

Apart from that foundation we end up with an incomplete picture of God; His work in the earth and eternity; and dysfunctional/religious relationships with one another. The Kingdom is God's order. It's His government. It's His right to rule over all creation as King and finally Judge.

John 3:16 literally reveals the entire plan of God after the fall of humanity. We've majored on one part of it though -- eternal life and we've defined that as going to heaven. The one thing the bible talks very little about is heaven. But it's filled with God's eternal purpose. If we don't know what God loved we will miss what He's really restoring Kosmos - the earthly family; harmonious arrangement; His order; His government. There were no nations in Heaven, there was community and there was family. There were no nations in the garden there was one Kingdom, one God and one family. Sin separates and it separated us from God and it separated us from one another. Jesus left us to complete the work He began. We must allow Him to work in and through us rooting out sin and restoring His family...restoring His community...restoring His Kingdom.

When we received Christ we were born again righteous. At the start of the relationship God gave us the acceptance and benefit of the end result. He no longer sees us as sinners. He sees us just as righteous as His Son Jesus. He wants us to extend that unconditional love to others. He wants us to be His ambassadors representing His will in the earth not that of our previous father satan. He wants His earthly family reunited and living in community. He wants a global Family Reunion!

God is a Father. Not one of His titles provides a more complete picture of who God He is than Father – PATER the founder , progenitor, the originator and transmitter, the teacher to whom pupils trace back the knowledge and training they have received the source of the family. The closer we are to God the more we experience fatherhood the further we are from God and His fatherhood the more destruction we expeience. Our society today is a result of that distance between the human family and its Father God. Today on Father’s day we are going to celebrate Fatherhood and invite in the healing Fatherhood brings to the family.

God is our Father. He is our source and creator. He desires for us to live dwelling in Him, rooted in Him and grounded in Him. We are His family. His original intent and the destiny for His family is to live in community -- every nation and every tongue gathered together in Christ. But there is work to do. The fall in the garden ruined man destroying His relationship with the Father, the family and His ability to truly operate in community. As these things are restored we begin to expereince the way of life our Father orginally intended. As these things are restored we experience the power of a supernatural Family Reunion.

When asked what the greatest commandment was Jesus replied with two --"Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind; Love thy neighbor as thyself." We have been called first and foremost into a relationship with The Father. But the restoration is incomplete without us also being restored to relationship with one another. We were designed to be His Family. But we were also designed to live in community. The lost of community has made us the most medicated, depressed and discontent people that has ever populated the planet. People today have far fewer meaningful relationships and are lonelier than any other time in history. We have been called to restore and extend The Family.

There is no love like the unconditional love of The Father. We were created by His love. We were designed to function in His love. Our potential and purpose is hidden in our relationship with Him and our response to His love. The earthly family apart from a relationship with the Father and His love is disconnected, dysfunctional and disorderly. The earthly family apart from the Father's love is an Endangered Species.
