WMC-0158 – What To Do When People Walk Away From The Church | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0:38:29

What To Do When People Walk Away From The Church   We live in a time where it is becoming more and more likely that people are leaving our churches. Not all churches, but a lot of them. Chances are, you know someone(s) who has left the church behind. Maybe they were wounded. Maybe they weren’t. Maybe they’re being selfish. Maybe they’re just tired. Maybe They’re burnt out. Who knows. The question is, what do we do? how do we handle that when it happens to us?  Why don’t you chime in? Leave your feedback in the comments section below!  WMC – 0157 – More Thoughts On Change | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0:34:14

More Thoughts On Change… In the last episode of the podcast, Kevin & I talked about change. Kevin shared with us some of the things he was learning about change as his church goes through the unexpected process of renovating their auditorium. In this episode, we talk about the bigger change we are all dealing with. We live in a time when things are changing very fast. It’s hard to keep up with everything that’s going on. It’s even harder to know which of the changes we are supposed to pay attention to. How do we lead people through this time when we aren’t even sure how we are supposed to navigate it?  Why don’t you chime in? Leave your feedback in the comments section below!  WMC-0154 – Taking a Break With Your Team | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0:29:07

Taking A Break With Your Team As I once heard from the great leader and mentor, Bill Hybels: Sundays come around with amazing regularity. Every 7 days there is another Sunday to put together. We are constantly in the process of process. Because of this, there is a need for us as leaders to take some time off as a team. As another great leader says, we need time to work on it, not just in it (Andy Stanley). We need some time throughout the year where we remove ourselves from the daily grind of preparing for another service and give ourselves a chance to see how we can do what we are doing better. If we never get out of the race to get a new set of tires, we’ll find ourselves blowing a tire on the last lap. So, in this episode of the podcast, David and Kevin talk about the benefits of taking a retreat with your team. Listen in!  Why don’t you chime in? Leave your feedback in the comments section below!  WMC-0153 – Sing To The Lord A New Song | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0:31:10

Sing To The Lord A New Song As worship leaders, we like new songs. But, if you haven’t noticed, not everyone feels the same way. But, how do we deal with this tension? When someone really prefers old songs and hymns, how do we help them move along in their walk with God? And perhaps the bigger question, is there a bigger spiritual issue at work in the heart of this struggle? Listen in as David and Kevin talk about this very important topic for worship in the local church!  Why don’t you chime in? Leave your feedback in the comments section below!  WMC-0152 – The New Regular, Once A Month Attender and The Tension It Creates In Worship | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0:30:53

The New Regular, Once A Month Attender and The Tension It Creates In Worship I have heard, in at least three separate leadership podcasts that the new regular attender in America is once a month. Two of the podcasts said once a month, another said once every six weeks. Not only does this create problems for the church in too many ways to mention in this post, it creates problems for worship pastors and worship ministries. That’s exactly what David & Kevin talk about in episode 0152 of the Worship Ministry Catalyst Podcast.  Why don’t you chime in? Leave your feedback in the comments section below!
