The Gospel in the Gates
Nehemiah appears to be the story of the rebuilding of Jerusalem, but it also serves as a handbook for rebuilding ruined, distressed, desolate, broken down lives. No walled fortress can protect without strong walls and powerful gates. Looking first to the gates, Nehemiah determined the needs before beginning to rebuild; like the Holy Spirit will do in our lives with the ruined, burned and broken gates. Using the story behind the repair of the 3 gates (valley, refuge, fountain) we learn how to move ahead; to ignore the enemy’s threats, intimidation, and rumors, to live free in Christ.

The 4th in a series of informative and encouraging teachings about angels, that scripture describes as “ministering spirits.” Every angel is concerned for our salvation and well being. God grants us a unique and exclusive relationship with a guardian angel, assigned for our lifetime, at our birth. Our guarding angel protects us from trouble. They safeguard and deliver us from both physical and spiritual dangers. A guarding angels personally minister to us. The Bible tells us that there are innumerable armies of angels ready to help and shield us. Angles deliver, liberate, and rescue us when it seems there is no chance to survive.
