When he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) there was an outpouring of love and support from everyone who was inspired by his colorful life and his fearless decision to continue doing the job he loved -- despite being told that he would have only three-to-six months to live. Sager has undergone three stem cell transplants -- with his son as the donor for two of them -- and more than twenty chemotherapy cycles since his diagnosis. Brian Urlacher not only played for the Chicago Bears, but he carried on the tradition of the great linebackers before him. He won the NFL Rookie of the Year Award in 2000, elected to eight Pro Bowls, and won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award in 2005. Since his time in the NFL, Brian has kept himself busy and fueled his spirit of competition with the game of golf. When he is not hanging out with his family, Brian can be found on the golf course. Now he is on the Golf Channel's new show called Driver vs. Driver. Driver vs. Driver will follow the trials and tribulations of aspiring golf equipment designers as they compete for the chance to win $500,000 and the opportunity to have their driver concept brought to life and sold under the Wilson Staff name. Each design team will work with Wilson Labs engineers to evaluate, critique, refine and test their ideas and concepts, all while trying to stave off elimination by the panel of golf expert judges. Then they bring the University of Wisconsin Athletic Director, Barry Alvarez. Barry Alvarez knows a thing or two about what it takes to win. Alvarez started out as a high school coach before he became the head coach at the University of Wisconsin. Now Barry is the athletic director at the same university. Before college, Alvarez led the 1978 Mason City, Iowa, high school football team to a state championship. He applied the things he learned at Mason City to each of his following positions in football. Now he is teaming up with U.S. Cellular to find another outstanding high school coach.
