 #256 - Caron Butler | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Tommy Riles and Art Eddy talk about how as parents they switch the parenting hat sometimes for a coaching hat or a leadership hat. They get inspired by this week's guest, NBA star, Caron Butler. 15-year NBA veteran and father of five, Caron Butler is teaming up with the NBPA Foundation who filmed a great piece of him and his son -- JC, who happens to be one of the best high school basketball players in the country, as a sophomore! The video is part of their ongoing #EverydayDad campaign, which was launched to celebrate fathers and fatherhood. The #EverydayDad series is a key initiative of the NBPA Foundation, launched to celebrate fathers and fatherhood and to provide inspiration for fans to celebrate their own relationships with their dads and their kids.  #255 - Tom Shillue | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 37:00

Art Eddy brings on guest host Patrick Quinn to talk about what type of parenting style their dads had when they were growing up and whether or not being a strict father is the way to parent. They get inspired by this week's guest, TV host, author, and comedian, Tom Shillue. Tom Shillue is a popular host on Fox News Channel. He has appeared in his own Comedy Central Special, on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Last Comic Standing, Comics Unleashed, Broad City, and in the feature film Mystery Team. Shillue has been featured as part of the barbershop quartet on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon along with Justin Timberlake, Kevin Spacey, Steve Carrel, and Sting. In his new book, Mean Dads for a Better America, Tom takes a nostalgic look back at his childhood and the simple American values that shaped his worldview. Growing up as one of five kids in a devout Irish Catholic family in a small town outside of Boston, Tom believes that the rough-and-tumble, rules-dominated world in which he came of age was a better America -- a time and place that made him into the man he is today. As Tom celebrates the stability of family life and the sanity of days gone by, he encourages us to hold on to our sense of humor and look back at our own lives, as we work towards creating a better future for ourselves and our kids, all while making us laugh. Follow Tom Shillue on Twitter @tomshillue, Facebook, and TomShillue.com and pick up his book -- Mean Dads for a Better America.

 #251 - Josh Blue | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 22:30

Tommy Riles and Art Eddy talk about the difference in the "Dad Schedule" their dads had to now as they are fathers. They are inspired by this week's guest, comedian Josh Blue. Josh's schedule differs from the typical nine-to-five that our dads had back in the day. Blue, who is widely revered as the winner of Last Comic Standing with cerebral palsy has successfully transcended the reality competition novelty and gone on to achieve respect from both critics and fans. He is a single father of two children, so a lot of his stand up is about fatherhood and how he balances his work while raising his kids. Follow Josh Blue on Twitter @JoshBlueComedy, Facebook, and go to JoshBlue.com for tour dates. This podcast is sponsored by Boudreaux's Butt Paste. As a new dad you want to be tough on diaper rash, but be gentle on your baby's booty at the same time!  #250 - Ben Falcone | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 31:41

Tommy Riles and Art Eddy are inspired by this week's guest, actor, director, comedian, and author, Ben Falcone, and ask if each of their kids wrote a book about them as dads what the title would be and what their kids would write about them. For Ben, he penned his thoughts in a book about his father and shares his own stories about being a dad. Being A Dad Is Weird: Lessons in Fatherhood from My Family to Yours is a funny and intimate look at fatherhood that combines stories about his own larger-than-life dad and how his experiences raising two daughters with his wife, Melissa McCarthy, who wrote the Foreword, are shaped by his own childhood. The book is hilarious, and who would doubt it especially if the book was written by the guy who is the actor and writer/director of the films The Boss and Tammy? We had the great pleasure of chatting with Ben about the book, his relationship with his father and what it means for him to be a dad. Follow Ben Falcone on Twitter @benfalcone and purchase Being A Dad Is Weird: Lessons in Fatherhood from My Family to Yours wherever books are sold. Pop's original scripted comedy series has Joey as a version of himself alongside his real-life family -- wife Barrett and their three children, Griffin (8), Rhys (6) and Kira (5). As he embarks on a hilarious quest to be taken seriously as a legit actor, Joey is thrown into the reluctant role of a talk-show host at a fledgling cable network called the Comfy Channel.
