Fentress Architects, a firm based in Denver, Colorado, was unanimously approved by the San Diego Convention Center Corporation Board of Directors at a meeting on November 9, 2010. A groundbreaking new vessel for the U.S. Navy has been designed and built by Chula Vista's Marine Group Boat Works, a tenant and partner of the Port of San Diego.The 114-foot RTSC-110 runs entirely on biofuel and has 100 percent shore power capability.
