If anything defines "here" for Wake Owl, it's the unexpected/deserved reception of their sound and their EP 'Wild Country.' This thing is six beautiful songs long and while it's not some profound re-imagination of the genre, it doesn't need to be. This is by the books and better off for it. Here's Colyn and Aiden (the original twosome) performing the single "Gold" unplugged and unrehearsed. 'Wild Country EP' is out now on Vagrant.
