Summary: From rapping aspirations to guitar/violin duo to four-piece indie folk perfection. This is Wake Owl and that's the evolution it took singer/songwriter Colyn Cameron to get here. If anything defines "here" for Wake Owl, it's the unexpected/deserved reception of their sound and their EP 'Wild Country.' This thing is six beautiful songs long and while it's not some profound re-imagination of the genre, it doesn't need to be. This is by the books and better off for it.
