Eventer Boyd Martin's wife Silva recently sustained a critical head injury while schooling a dressage horse at her training facility in Wellington, Florida and while the injuries are serious the prognosis is favorable and she is expected to make a full recovery. Californian show jumper Audrey Coulter celebrated a career highlight this past weekend at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida when she won not only the $280,000 Adequan Grand Prix CSI4* but also the $84,000 1.50m Championship Jumper Classic riding Acorte and Victory DA respectively. Aside from beating the world's top two ranked riders, Britain's Scott Brash and Ben Maher, in the grand prix, she was also named the Leading Lady Rider for week seven.
