REASONING WITH SISTA DEE and Reggae Round Robin Update - Apr 07,2013 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 03:01:00

REASONSING ABOUT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND THE UPDATE ON THE REGGAE ROUND ROBBIN A new initiative to help Conscious Reggae Artist jump- start their careers and revitalize the Reggae Industry music sales in general, by collectively pooling both the Reggae music Fans and Artist efforts on www.facebook.com/reggaeroundrobin . First let me explain what a Round Robin is: It is simple ?taking turns," the concept will be explained as we go along. The Reggae Round Robin Team is aware of the hardships faced by conscious Reggae Artist and the struggles to get their music aired on main stream media and this may be the cause of the lagging reggae music sales… especially experienced by Reggae Artist from Jamaica. Team Reggae Round Robin is proposing to adapt the below steps to help resolve the above situations. GOOD and EFFECTIVE promotion that is all the Reggae Industry needs … ?numbers speaks volume?. People become Fans of Artists because they love the works of the Artist and will fully support that Artist career. If the above is true, then the Round Robin principles will tremendously help Reggae Artist and the Reggae Music Industry. Reggae Round Robin will be employing collective effort to promote an Artist every week of the Round Robin. The end product would be a tremendous kick start for every artist involved in the program. There is ABSOLUTELY no cost for the Artist to participate but it is MANDATORY that every Artist invites 2000 fans to the Reggae Round Robin Page. How would Artist benefit? When the Round Robin page amasses 200 thousand ?like? with the collective effort of the listed Artist on the Reggae Round Robin page, then the Round Robin will begin. Here is how the process will work.

 Jamaica's KING of comedy Mr.OLIVER Samuels,VYTAL,Jah Silentt - Apr 05,2013 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:57:00

Oliver Adolphus Samuels, actor and comedian was born November 4, 1948 in Harmony Hall, St. Mary. He grew up on a banana plantation where his father worked as a casual labourer and his mother sold items on the estate. His involvement in drama began in his childhood where, at the age of seven he and the other children on the plantation would sing and recite poetry on Friday nights. Oliver's life tells the story of a poor boy who made good. He fetched water from a river, he walked miles to and from school as early as age five. He helped his ailing mother in undertaking several chores around the home. He firmly maintains however, that he did not feel at all downtrodden because he was born in poverty. This was so because his mother would not encourage such feelings. Her mantra was with hard work you could make it. Mr. Samuels attended Dinthill Technical High School. . VYTALStenneth Waugh, a.k.a, Vytal, born Jamaica , Manchester. He attended the Cumberland all age school . While living in St. Catherine he attended no school until 1984 when he moved to Kingston to live with his mother. He then started attending Denham Town Secondary High School. He is grateful to a lady whose name is Miss Paulette, who taught him to read and write so he could pass the entrance test to Denham Town School. Jah Silent realized his love for music at an early age. He soon joined his church choir, where his talent and love for music developed significantly and quickly. Later, he formed and led the gospel group Justified. With the firm overstanding of religion which he gained from attending church after church as well as being the only son of a Bishop and extensively researching religion, Jah Silent speaks openly about religion and the WICKED MAN JUDGEMENT-?Bun Religion? is a philosophy and a frequent quote of his.caribbeanradioshow@gmail.com www.crsradio.com

Climate Change, WE Can Solve It - Mar 31,2013 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:59:00

WAO (We Are One) Coming to you live from Costa Rica and brought to you by the La Reserva Forest Foundation (LRFF). We invite you to participate in this most interesting and interactive show by calling in or participating in the "green" chat room. LRFF is working to solve climate change and lost resources by restoring the tropical forests in the "lungs of the world". This week we are featuring the tunes of Michael Lingston, a fellow Costa Rican reggae artist. His unique approach and interpretation of reggae music has been highly commended and rewarded by many established members of the music industry. Not limited to the performance side of the music industry, Michael Livingston pursued an education in audio engineering, and in 1990 he subsequently established his professional recording studio in the heart of Harlem, New York. Climate change is our continuing topic. It's being caused by human activity not volcanoes, solar activity or a universal conspiracy. This is a platform for everyone to tell us your views on cc, ask questions about this most important issue. The majority of people are very uninformed about cc because it has become unmentionable in the mainstream media. Talking about it is the first step to solving it. As always great roots and culture music plus interesting Caribbean news and events. Give us a call, get involved!

 D Money live from Burmuda - Mar 31,2013 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:50:00

D Money live from Burmuda City of Hamilton The town of Hamilton was founded and named after Sir Henry Hamilton who served as Governor of Bermuda from 1788 - 1794 and who was very instrumental in supporting the settlement of a town in the central parishes. The people of St. George's strongly objected to the creation of the new town, but Governor Hamilton felt it made good sense to have a town in the central area, which would be relatively close to people from all over the Island. This accounts for the motto, 'Sparsa Collegit', translation of which is 'brought together the scattered'. The new town of Hamilton quickly thrived and overtook the Town of St George, becoming the capital of Bermuda in 1815, during the Mayoral term of Richard Darrell, considered to have been one of Hamilton's most outstanding Mayors. A thriving centre, the City of Hamilton is the hub of international and local business on the Island. But Hamilton also has a unique character, as it is packed with historic buildings, churches, shops, museums, galleries, parks and gardens--all set alongside a beautiful natural harbour. caribbeanradioshow@gmail.com 661-467-2407
