Matt Dahl Radio is ready to go after week one of football, so bring on week 2!  We recap all there was to start the NFL season, from the Cowboys beating the Giants, to RG 3's dominance, to the Jets big win and all the way to the debut of Peyton Manning in Denver.  We also look forward to week 2 with plenty of interesting match ups along the way.  Then there's baseball, which continues to heat up with October just around the corner.  Are the Yankees any better off than they were a week ago?  And what do we have to say about the official end to Stephen Strasburg?  And let's not forget the WWE, as there's plenty to get to with Night of Champions coming this Sunday, with the showdown between CM Punk and John Cena set to take place.  It's all there for a legendary edition of MDR, don't miss out!

Football.  That's right, football season is upon us, and MDR will be right there as kickoff will be getting underway on the 2012 season.  The Giants and Cowboys open things up on Wednesday night at MetLife Stadium, and we are ready for football.  We preview the NFL season as well as give our weekly picks for Week 1.  Aside from the NFL, a big issue continues to grow for the Yankees, as they are now TIED for first place with the Baltimore Orioles.  How much trouble are the Yankees in?  We also figure out the rest of the playoff picture, and then don't worry... we'll fill your wrestling needs with the latest in the WWE, after a great ending to Monday Night Raw.  Tune in for a jam packed edition of MDR!

Matt Dahl Radio is back for its full 2 hour extravaganza and we are bringing it!  We get you all set for the upcomming football season which is just one week away with plenty of talk on the Jets, Giants, Eagles and all the other teams to keep on eye on this season.  We also talk baseball with the season winding down and some interesting things unfolding.  That being the Nationals and Stephen Strasburg, the Yankees injuries, the Dodgers being crazy, and plenty more.  And then of course we have the latest in the WWE for you with CM Punk going completely heel, and we love it. HEY! We missed you Wednesday, so here's a new MDR just for fun!  It's a little short, but Matt flies solo and gives all his fun topics.  Matt looks into Johan Santana landing on the DL and being shut down for 2012, and refuses to blame the no-hitter back on June 1.  The Stras Count continues as well and you can only wonder what the Nationals will do when it comes to their potential post season quest.  We also have a full recap of SummerSlam and praises for the feud of face Cena against heel Punk in the WWE.  All that and more for a shortened and late edition of MDR!

Here we go! A new episode of MDR and we are loaded up.  Plenty to get to around Major League Baseball, as Wednesday turned out to be a big day for baseball.  It all started with Melky Cabrera, who we've all been wondering how he became so good, was suspended for performance enhancing drugs.  Then to top it all off, King Felix threw w a perfect game!  Aside from that, we wonder just what exactly is going on in Boston?  The players continue to cause issue and Bobby Valentine is the target.  Is everything just wrong in Boston?  But there's still some good in baseball, including the Nationals, who we know we've talked enough about, but there is not stopping them.  Then there is football on the way as we had our first dose of preseason football this past weekend.  And sure, there was plenty of ridiculous news to go with it (see Chad Johnson).  And we've got a full preview of WWE SummerSlam to bring you as the summer event takes place on Sunday.  Is THIS when we get our pay off for a CM Punk "heel turn"?  We'll see.  All put together for this week's MDR!

Baseball, baseball, baseball.  Lots of baseball to get to as we continue to filter out some of the playoff race and begin wondering which teams that are around can really make some noise.  We also try to figure out how in the world the Nationals, Red, Pirates, White Sox and A's are some of the best teams around.  Then we've, been talking Tebow, you've been talking Tebow... everyone has!  But really, should he be on the New York Jets?  We discuss what lies ahead with Tebow in the mix for Gang Green.  We also get in to the Olympics, and shine some light on a little bit of the track events that have gone on, have you been impressed?  And of course we will be rounding things out talking some WWE with SummerSlam just 11 days away.  It's all gonna be there for a jam packed edition of MDR!

Well Happy August!  We recap baseball's trade deadline and give you the winners from the deals that have gone done.  It took them all the way until the 31st, but the Phillies did become sellers.  And for some reason the Miami Marlins wanted to keep pieces moving.  But now we move forward and have two big months left in baseball, so where will everyone fall as it winds down?  Also, the Olympics are a few days in, what have you been liking the most?  We discuss the events that have us tuning in, even if it's on tape delay.  And then in the world of the WWE there is plenty to talk about, as CM Punk wants his respect.  We recap the latest in the WWE and look forward to SummerSlam as well.  All that and plenty more on another edition of MDR!

It didn't take long for the trade bug to bite in Major League Baseball.  Moves got going quickly earlier this week, so now what fun will there be in the final 6 days before the deadline? We also discuss the ongoing bad story that comes out of Penn State and what it ultimately means for all.  Then to have some fun we talk about The Dark Knight Rises, and yes drop you a Spoiler Alert.   And then Raw 1000 was indeed hot this past Monday, and yes, CM Punk put his hands on The Rock.  We talk about it ALL right here on a fun edition of MDR!

Linsanity goes to Houston.  After taking the city over this past winter, Jeremy Lin finds himself leaving New York just 5 months later for a pretty nice contract from the Rockets.  So, the question; were the Knicks right or wrong for passing on Lin?  While the money may have been a lot, could they really overlook what he did this past season?  We'll discuss what is the end of Linsanity in New York.  We've got some basbeball to get to as the 2nd half is in full swing and the trade deadline is less than 2 weeks.  And this upcomming Monda night will be a big one for the WWE, as they reach the 1000th episode of Monday Night Raw.  We talk Raw 1000, our favorite Raw moments, and of course recap Money in the Bank and go over Raw No. 999.  All that and more on a big time episode of Matt Dahl Radio!

This is the day there are NO sports on at all, so listen to us!  We are ALL set for the second half of the baseball season as we are just a day removed from the All-Star game.  What did we think of Dickey not starting? Cano getting booed to no end?  Oh, and what about the game?  But we preview the 2nd half for real and try figuring out just who to watch for and who may not be as legit as they seem.  There's also been plenty of offseason news in the NBA tho and we will try piecing it all together.  To cap it all off we have WWE's Money in the Bank coming up this Sunday.  A pay-per-view with plenty of potential, will they deliver?  It's a loaded edition of MDR, don't miss out!!

In a break from the routine, MDR kicks back for the Fourth of July and thanks WFAN, the NY sports talk station that just celebrated their 25th Anniversary this past Sunday.  Matt takes a listen back to some of the bigger moments in the past 25 years as well as some of the funnier moments we have heard on WFAN thanks to some of the great hosts they have had.  Happy Fourth of July! We're back FOR REAL this time and man will this be a fun show.  One year to the date CM Punk delivered his memorable shoot promo on Monday Night Raw.  So what has the year been in wrestling since then?  Also away from the wrestling world, we look back at Lebron finally getting his ring last week and then get ready for the NBA Draft on Thursday night.  Also we continue to charge ahead to the All-Star break and the Yankees remain hot, but a certain trade went down that was predicted here months ago involving the Boston Red Sox.  And hey we'll even preview The Amazing Spider-Man, which comes out on July 3, on this edition.  So be there for some summer fun of MDR!

He did it, well not entitely.  Lebron James has lead the Miami Heat to their second consecutive Eastern Conference championship, but we all know that isn't the title he needs.  We discuss Lebron and the Heat taking on Durant and the Thunder just after Game 1 and look ahead to the rest of the series.  But that's not all that's going on, after all it's almost summer time and that simply means baseball.  Two weeks ago we said we'd have an idea of where the Phillies are as a team by this week, and here they are, 5 games under .500.  So what can Philly do about it?  And then the real Evil Empire, the New York Yankees, are right back on top.  We also have a full preview of WWE's No Way Out coming this Sunday, and what we thought of the return of Vince McMahon this week.  Tune in, a big edition of MDR on the way!

Yes, this is the first MDR since Johan Santana's no-hitter, so you know what we will be talking about.  Johan's first no-no in Mets history was quite a moment, and what exactly did it mean to the die-hard Mets fan/what the heck were they going through Friday night?  And is there a bad side to this?  Also though we talk plenty more baseball including the Nationals and the Yankees.  And then in the NBA we have had the Conference Finals completely turn on us, as now the Spurs and Heat are facing elimination.  Are there days pretty much over this season?  And of course we round things out with some WWE talk, and complaints.  All that and more on this edition of MDR!
