Lee And Tiff Lakosky on Smokin’ Monster Whitetails and Max Stalling Drops In | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Synopsis of Episode 23: Well, I think it’s going to be another great show. The Outdoor Channel’s Lee and Tiffany Lakosky join the program and we go into detail on a variety of subjects. Obviously, we talk whitetails, and how much work it requires to manage 6,000 acres and 600 acres of food plots. Also, does Tiff gut her own deer, how did Lee get her hooked on smoking monster whitetails? Who has the best deer to date and much more! Be sure to check it out as well as The Crush With Lee and Tiffany which airs 4 times a week on the Outdoor Channel. Also, one of my favorite musicians and life long outdoorsman Max Stalling stops in to talk about growing up in Zavala County. Hunting was more than recreation in his South Texas upbringing. Max’s father hunted and fished to put food on the table for his 6 children. Some of Max’s fondest memories are growing up crappie fishing on the Nueces River. Also, Max has a new record coming out August 17th !!! So we’ll get the scoop on that as well. Podcast:

Game Warden Tribute Week | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:00

Synopsis of Episode 21: Our TPWD Game Warden’s do a lot to protect and preserve the animals and resources that we outdoor enthusiasts care about so passionately. Sometimes, they pay the ultimate sacrifice like Justin Hurst did in March 2007. This week we visit with a couple Game Wardens from opposite ends of the state. Refugio County Game Warden Raul “Pinky” Gonzalez almost paid that ultimate sacrifice when he got tangled up with an 8 foot alligator. He ended up with a mangaled hand, a concussion, some broken teeth and a broken jaw, but had he not reacted quickly he could have been the latest in a long line of Texas Game Wardens who have died while on duty. Pinky tells his scary story this weekend. Also, Kaufman County Game Warden Eric Minter addresses the naysayers about where and how his 2009 Kaufman Co. buck was harvested. He came to me after reading lots of negative comments on line regarding the 31 point monster that he took down last archery season. It was the 4th highest scoring non-typical archery whitetail ever taken in Texas. I take my hat off to all of our TPWD Game Wardens and look foward to honoring their service this week.
