He has given us a clear way to live. He calls us to think clearly and practice self-control. This time of year we can easily fall into traps that take us away from that message. Join Jud as he shows us what clearly matters the most!

Message for 12.09.12 :: Jud continues in the book of 1 Peter as we take a look at finding joy in the midst of all the busyness of the Christmas holiday. We will see how pausing in the chaos and trusting in God can bring us Joy and bring us back to the true meaning of Christmas. Come to fill yourself with this joy that overflows from you and be ready to share that joy with others that need to hear the Good News.

Message for 12.02.12 :: Christmas is a time of great joy in the season, but it can also be a time of great sorrow. Many of us feel so stressed from work, life, school and family struggles that we don't even pause to celebrate. Jud will teach from the book of 1 Peter where we will see believers who knew all about stress and pressure. We will see how to find joy in the midst of our struggles and be able to share that joy with others!

This weekend we will look at a married couple in New Testament times that wanted more from life, thought they'd never get it, and then God showed up in a big way! Message for 11.18.12 :: Throughout the book of Galatians we've looked at one of the biggest receivers of a Second Chance...Paul. Through Paul, God's Word is clear that we are called to share each other's burdens and in doing so we are obeying God's command. Jud will wrap up the People of the Second Chance series this weekend by sharing with us how when we are given the opportunity, we all need to extend a Second Chance to others.

Message for 11.11.12 :: It's not always easy to extend forgiveness to someone that has hurt us. We may say we'll forgive, but not forget, and continue to hold a grudge, thereby letting bitterness continue to control our emotions. But God has commanded us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Ouch! If we want others to forgive our misdoings, then we have to be able to forgive others for theirs - giving them a second chance. This weekend Jud will continue sharing with us how we can practice letting go and blessing someone with a Second Chance.
