One practical application of that is focusing on securing the country's physical borders. There are not only illegal immigrants that are crossing our borders, but also members of Al Qaeda and other terrorists. Due to the many global threats against America, both our southern and northern borders are now a threat because there are people coming into our country through these entry points with the intent to do harm. Whether we believe it or not, there are Al Qaeda cells in America waiting to attack from within. We must be vigilant watchmen with a focus on our borders.
