Music fans gathered early to enjoy performances from the of RTÉ Concert Orchestra and headline acts at Ireland’s biggest music festival Electic Picnic, which kicked off on Friday in Stradbally in County Laois. 2fm presenter and DJ Jenny Greene preformed to the crowd last night, and spoke to Brenan O’Connor about the atmosphere at the picnic.

From a funny Facebook post between friends, depicting a very particular type of Irish girl to an extraordinary online phenomenon with over 38,000 followers which has now turned into a book. ‘Oh My God, What A Complete Aisling’ is created by Emer McLysaght and Sarah Breen and they spoke to Brendan about the book, and Aisling. The book is published by Gill Books and is out today.
