Geoff and Annabel are back covering the Breakfast Show, and all is going as well as someone who woke up at half three could expect it to be. Spirits are high...ok, not high, but there hasn't been any shouting or swearing between the team, and that's something at least.

Today, Russell Brand came in to talk to Geoff about his ideas on life and society at the moment. He seems to really polarise opinion but he was great, so we thought on today's podcast we'd give you the chance to listen to the interview in full, with some extra Russell that you wouldn't have heard on the radio.

Another early start as Geoff covers the breakfast show, but there was much to distract from the overwhelming tiredness, for Geoff's plea for guitar-based covers of "All About the Bass" has started to come to fruition, and our first submission has been recieved.

Phew it's early! Well, maybe not for you, but it was when we recorded this- that's because we're covering the Breakfast Show for a week. Still, the team remained in good spirits considering they woke up in the middle of the night, and here are the results in podcast form.
